Ai Helis Kefalonia: Ai Helis is located in the southwest part of Kefalonia, 12 km from its capital Argostoli and close to the village of Svoronata. The beach consists of nice sand, crystalline and shallow waters which makes an ideal environment for children. It is surrounded on both sides by towering rocks and enchanting lush greenery that create a beautiful atmosphere. It has a descent development with sunbeds and a snack bar while it is also considered quite suitable for water sports activities. The Avithos Resort and Local Area Tour/Review In Kefalonia
I've been on holiday here twice now (6 years apart) and it hasn't changed at all. Everything is still great. Rooms are comfy, pool is good for swimming, staff and other guests are friendly and there's a few close beaches and restaurants that are good. My rating is 9/10 only because there was a very rude and loud family with 6 kids there, just unlucky i guess.

Lefteris Village is located right on the hill between Argostoli and Lassi with magnificent panoramic views from all apartments of the bay of Argostoli, the sea and the lagoon.
There is a panoramic view of Ainos mountain which is among the highest in Greece, with the characteristic of black fir trees.
Argostoli is only 1km away as well as Lassi at 0.7km with many restaurants, bars, supermarkets..... 200m below the famous beach of Kefalonia Makris & Platis Gialos is located with beachbar, food, music and watersports.
The Lefteris Village is 4000sqm and comprises 21 rooms, bar and a small villa bungalow.

Villa on the Rock, Ai Helis, Kefalonia
The exteriors of this summer residence were designed with a view towards their being harmoniously embedded within the surrounding scenery with its dramatic cliffs and breathtaking sea views. In parallel, the linkage between indoor and outdoor spaces and function was envisaged. The arrangement was intended to provide a continuum of experience for the casual stroller. Typical Mediterranean prototype garden as well as characteristic syntheses of Greek nature were used as sources of inspiration. The design of specific elements (e.g. the railings, the gate, the bar) draws on natural forms such as the wave, the tree, the earthquake. A final unifying element is the native vegetation which integrates all parts into a unified whole.

I captured this while I was on summer hoilday in Greece. I noticed from my Hotel balcony waves that were crashing at above 7 metres.
Pretty amazing experience to capture and see in person.
