長崎駅のアミュプラザ長崎の５階にある皇上皇で、太麺皿うどんを食べました。
皿うどんの太麺は、ある意味塩焼きそばにあんかけをかけたような感じでした。うまかったです。

In Huang Emperor located on the fifth floor of Amu Plaza Nagasaki Nagasaki Station, I ate Futoshimensara noodles. Thick noodle dish of noodles, I felt like put the sauce on the meaning salt fried noodles there. It was delicious.

In the Amu Plaza Nagasaki, we have to eat the sauce with white fish family small fish shop. I think that it is easy to understand and ask them to imagine what fried white meat instead of sweet and sour pork pig. Lovely meal.

Last night, L & S bought a mailing box 220-yen from the hotel front desk, dumped all their extra stuffs in, taped it up and had the hotel mailed it back to our Tokyo hotel to hold until we get back to Tokyo. They used a service called TA-KU-HA-I-BI-N. Cost for transporting the box was 1620-yen. So total cost was 1620+220=1840-yen or roughly $15.34. A great deal – no need lug around da extra stuffs!
This morning’s breakfast didn’t have NATTO but L & S had saved one for me from yesterday so I scored! Had NATTO.
Today Sep 19th starts a 5-day weekend holiday for the Japanese so the trains will be crowded. So we went HE-LE out of the hotel as early as we could because we couldn’t get reserved seats for the trains we needed to get to Nagasaki. Cars 1, 2, & 3 are the cattle-class, unreserved, free-for-all cars. Jumped onto car 3 when the train arrived at 7:50 a.m. and it was standing room only in the unreserved section. We found space in between cars 3 & 4 by the toilets along with a bunch of others who couldn’t find seats. After 1 hr 24 minutes, we jumped off to get on the next train. The station folks told us go to track #2 and jump on the train called Kamome #11 which will depart at 10:42 a.m. So after a 20-minute wait, when a train arrived at 10:42 we jumped on it. After about 20 minutes or so I figure I go check with the conductor just to make sure since nothing was being said on the overhead speaker about going to Nagasaki. And the conductor said we're not going to Nagasaki and to get off the next train and jump on the 10:46 train called Kamome #13. Had to wait about 30-minutes. This time we got on the right one and again had to stand in the space between cars. After about ½ hour as people got off at various stations, we managed to find 3 free seats made it to Nagasaki in the next 1-hour and half in fairly comfortable fashion. kekekeke
Got into Nagasaki, dragged our junks about 4 blocks to the Toyoko Inn, dropped off our bags and went BURA-BURA. Went back to the train station to get something to eat but just then, this 4-some got on a small stage and started singing. Young kids singing acappella and doing a really great job at it. Stayed for a coupla songs. Was surprised as they sang their version of NA DA SOU SOU (Okinawan song). Neat-o! Had lunch in the AMU plaza food floor (I think was the 5th floor). Plenty good looking restaurants. L & S picked one restaurant and it was a winner! See our lunches. We all had oyako domburi but S & mine were sets so we also got a small udon and other side dishes included.
Jumped on the #1 streetcar(160-yen) and visited the A-bomb site. Caught the #1 streetcar going da other way and went across town, walked through Chinatown, and walked and walked and walked. We ended up exploring, running into many deadends and getting some pretty tough exercises going up down stairs and walkways. Walking back to the hotel, we found a 100-yen shop and of course a couple of persons in my group had to make a detour. It was a different line of 100-yen store called CAN-DO. In Japanese characters, it sounds like KYAN-dough! We spent so much time there! Continuing our walk back to the hotel, we went spock one big shopping mall with UNI QLO and other shops. But I put my foot down and said I’m going back to the hotel! L & S can do the mall on their own! kekekekeke
