We finally did it! We are taking our honeymoon (after 3 years of marriage lol) in Cookstown, Ireland! It is also my family's reunion (something I have been working on for over 2 years now). This is the cottage we stayed in. Absolutely worth every penny to stay there! The cottage is called Creggandevesky (pronouned the way my hubby Michael pronounced it in the video, although he said the video was taking on May 11th, but it is actually May 10th ;-)! )

I'm a novelist writing about the arrival of the Normans to Ireland in the late 12th century, but I adore almost all Irish history before the eighteenth century. This channel will try to cover as much as possible so if you like Ireland and history this will definitely be the place for you - I'd be so pleased if you'd consider liking and subscribing!

Derry police stoned as they probe accident involving girl aged four
Damaging: Alan Hutton of the PSNI A four-year-old girl knocked down by a car near her Londonderry home on Sunday was in a serious but stable condition in Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital yesterday. Police who attended the scene in the Creggan came under a hail of bricks and stones from around a dozen youths while they were investigating the incident. The girl, who was struck by a car shortly after 1pm at Magowan Park, was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital and later transferred to Belfast where her parents were yesterday at her bedside.
