Creepiest Arcade in the WORLD!!! - Kawasaki Warehouse
Do you like creepy things? You do? Well here is an arcade for you. We went to what can only be described as the CREEPIEST arcade in the World while we were in Japan, Anata no Warehouse or also known as Kawasaki Warehouse. Anata no Warehouse is located in Kawasaki, Japan. The entrance to this arcade is definitely the coolest and creepiest entrance to any arcade we have ever been to. It feels like you are walking down a suspicious dingy back alley located in a very unwelcome place, but that just makes it even more interesting. Behind the first creepy impressions there is a nice well equipped arcade with everything you could want from a Japanese arcade. Let's get in there and explore this creepy place!
Anata no Warehouse arcade is modeled off the Kowloon Walled City that was once in Hong Kong.

Crazy Arcade in JAPAN!!! - KOWLOON WALLED CITY (Kawasaki Warehouse)
WARNING - DON'T book your travel through Expedia - they are super sketchy! So many people have reported being double or triple-charged by Expedia.com - and Expedia has refused to refund duplicate charges caused by glitches on their site and app. I don't know if travelocity and hotels.com are as sketchy, but they are owned by the same company. I will be trying competitor Priceline in the future.
The Kawasaki Warehouse is a huge arcade in Kawasaki Japan (about 30-40 minutes from Tokyo by train). The coolest part of the arcade is a section modeled after Kowloon Walled City, a crowded urban nest in Hong Kong that was demolished in the 1990's. Kowloon inspired the settings of many fictional video games, animes, and movies.
The Kowloon section of the arcade houses classic game cabinets such as Darius, Outrun, Street Fighter, and Gauntlet.
The history of the GREATEST arcade in the world. Anata No Warehouse | Kawasaki, Japan
The Walled City of Hong Kong with is city of darkness is not something one would think of as a good theme for an arcade. But for ten years, visitors played video games inside a disgustingly well themed nightmare. This is the story of Anata No Warehouse in Kawasaki, Japan.

Japan Horror Walk 4k - Kawasaki Anata no Warehouse
Hey Leute,
Was denkt ihr?

The Anata No Warehouse Arcade in Kawasaki, Japan
We recently went to Japan again and made sure to visit this amazing arcade. This is the ground floor. The designers of this arcade did a beautiful job replicating a seedy alley from the infamous Kowloon Walled City in Hong Kong. So beautiful and has five floors of arcade games. It is in Kawasaki (about 45 minutes from Shinjuku, Tokyo with one rail change) and ten minute walk from main station.
Goodbye Kawasaki Arcade (Anata no Warehouse)
A 2018 visit to the game arcade Anata no Warehouse, which contained a highly-detailed and authentic recreation of Kowloon Walled City and was a beloved location to visit for Shenmue fans. Sadly, it closed on 17th November 2019. (Footage and video by Patrick J Fuller.)

Anata no Warehouse Kawasaki - Japan Nostalgie mit Senpai
Was denkt ihr?

Creepiest Arcade in JAPAN!!! - Kawasaki Warehouse - Kowloon Walled City Arcade
Anata No Warehouse is a five-storey arcade facility in Kawasaki, Japan. It is specifically designed to look like the former Kowloon Walled City in Hong Kong, though it also has a Cyberpunk aesthetic. The facility was designed and decorated by Taishiro Hoshino in 2009. Overall, the decor, even though new, is designed to look old and creepy.
The gimmick worked we visited to take some cool pictures and ended up spending way too much money on the ufo catchers and won nothing...
Anata no warehouse means your warehouse in Japanese.

ANATA NO WAREHOUSE: One of the Best and Creepiest Arcade I've seen located in Kawasaki Japan #62
On the night of our third day in Japan, we decided to split and do our own solo exploration. My feet brought me to Kawasaki, Japan intending to visit our church in this area. But before heading to my true destination, I decided to do a bit of shopping, I also tried having dinner in Yoshinoya, and yes it was so delicious and way different from how it tasted here in the Philippines. While eating, a friend told me that the famous arcade called Anato No Warehouse is a few walks away from my place. So I decided to swing by and I was amazed at what I've seen.
Anata No Warehouse is an arcade house was located inside an old building and definitely took its design level to the max. The whole place is like you were part of an arcade game. Each floor has different designs, and there are tons of games to play with. Check out this video, you might want to include this as well in your itinerary on your next Japan visit.
