We filmed this vlog on Alex's birthday, right before our unexpected YouTube vacations. Yeap, now you know it was a month ago:)) But does it make the landscapes of Auckland's West Coast any worse? Not a tiny little bit! So on that day we picked up our tes-drive car, Ford Escape, our friends, who have just arrived from Moscow and went to explore the famous black sand beaches not far away from Auckland. We started with the marvellous and wild Anawhata beach and went to the spectacular Piha beach after. Enjoy!

Remake of the #PihaBeach in #AucklandTour that I had been in the past. Piha Beach is one of the most famous and must see beaches in Auckland New Zealand.

New Zealand is a beautiful country with lots of beautiful scenery including beaches and Piha is one of the most famous beaches of New Zealand. It is one of the most popular beaches in the area and a major day-trip destination for Aucklanders throughout the year, and especially in summer. Piha is 39 kilometres west of Auckland city centre, on the Tasman Sea coast to the north of the Manukau Harbour, on the western edge of the Waitakere Ranges. Immediately to the north of Piha is Whites Beach, and immediately to the south is Mercer Bay; land access to both is only by foot. The nearest beaches accessible by road are Karekare to the south, and Anawhata to the north.

It is one of the most dangerous beaches as well as the Sea Waves are real rough and is always worth that you look at the sign boards and if not sure, do not go too deep into the waves. There are many life guards on stand by always. It's also advisable that you bring your water bottles to keep you hydrated while you are exploring the Piha Beach, as there are no shops nearby. Piha beach is one of the main attractions in Auckland and according to me should be one of the Top 10 things to do in Auckland for anyone who is visiting Auckland. It can fit in your Auckland Day Trip if you are looking at spending your day at some secluded yet an happening beach in Auckland.

THE WATERPROOF SHOES

We went to Mokoroa Falls today. It's in between Muriwai and Waitakere, on Auckland's west coast, approximately 45 km from Auckland City.

We reached the lookout and tried to go to the base of the waterfalls to have a much better view but unfortunately, the stream was quite high so we just enjoyed the view from afar. Frustrating but what can we do... haha. Safety first.

The beauty of West Coast - black sand and surf beach is just around 50km west of Auckland. The waterfall is around 10min easy walk and during summer this will be a popular spots for swimmers and family.
