ANCHOR D ranch (#1) riding REDDY 8/13/'14 (Alberta)
August 13/2014 at the Anchor-D ranch near Black Diamond, Alberta. I'm riding the horse named REDDY & it's near the end of a 2 hour mountain/trail ride-(apx. noon). It was an amazing experience & it's unbelievable the way these horses can walk up & down such steep hills. REDDY was eating big mouthfuls of the tall grass constantly-(a wilful horse). ---can't get enough of the Cowboy Trail/Foothills area of Alberta & the Anchor-D was the perfect place to be for a couple days in the guest log cabin-(Hunter cabin)
ANCHOR-D ranch (#4) 8/14/'14 round-up at 7:30am (Alberta)
(Aug. 14/2014 at around 7:30am) early morning at the Anchor-D ranch near Black Diamond, Alberta Canada. Every morning a few ranch hands ride out & gather the 120+ horses from the foothills & pastures & lead them to the barn & corral. Many horses will be saddled up for the mountain trail rides that begin each day at 10am. This video is taken from the Hunter guest cabin front yard. --(I wish I could have filmed the round-up from yesterday because I saw about 40 horses galloping at much higher speeds)--

Terry Grant - I'm Back
Teaser Video for Terry Grant for the launch of his new website (therealmantracker.com). Shot in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains near Turner Valley, Alberta in October 2011. In two days we shot a total of 3 promos, (including this one) 13 webisodes on tracking and 3 commercials for sponsors. It started snowing as we were finishing our last shot, and you can actually see the sun going away. We we so lucky to get everything done, but had a great crew and Terry is very easy to work with.

Assembling a New Gazebo
Just finished the deck staining project and the wife wanted a new gazebo so I enlisted the help of my friend CJ to help me assemble this thing..
It turned out quite nice!
All items purchased at Big Lots.
The Monterey style gazebo is made by Wilson & Fisher.
It's dimensions are 10' x 12' (3.33m x 4m) and covers 120 sq ft. (40 sq m).
It is screwed to the deck using 2 inch deck screws.
