I saw a natural formation on a rocky beach that could easily be built into a tidal fish trap. This technique is an ancient method indigenous people used (and still use today) to harvest coastline fish species.

The Klasies River Caves are a series of caves located to the east of the Klasies River mouth on the Tsitsikamma coast in the Humansdorp district of Eastern Cape Province, South Africa. The three main caves and two shelters at the base of a high cliff have revealed evidence of middle stone age-associated human habitation from approximately 125,000 years ago.The 20 metres thick deposits were accumulated from 125,000 years ago.Around 75,000 years ago during cave remodelling the stratigraphic sediments were moved out into external middens.

MONSTER Shark Caught in a RIVER
In this episode of BlacktipH, I go fishing with my buddy Ryan Nitz and our goal is to catch a monster shark in the river! I dropped a mutton snapper carcass on the BlacktipH Monster Shark Rig to the bottom of the river. While I was rigging the bait, Ryan saw a monster mark on the sonar. Within 30 seconds, we got a bite! The mystery fish swam back towards the boat before realizing that it was hooked. All of a sudden, the fish took off, and the line reel started screaming! A monster bull shark splashed near the bow of the boat. Ryan and I knew we had a serious fish on the line! I fought this monster shark on spinning gear for nearly an hour before we had a chance to catch it. Ryan and I jumped out of the boat and started pulling on the leader. From the depths emerged a real monster, a 400lb bull shark! We quickly landed, removed the hook, and released the shark back into the river.
