Fantasy world or better known as DUFAN inaugurated on August 29, 1985 is an entertainment venue in Jakarta, located in Ancol, North Jakarta. Fantasy World reached 9,5 hectares from 550 hectares of the Taman Impian Jaya Ancol. A fantasy world is composed of several regions with their own unique theme with the intent to keep the visitors enjoy the sensation of walking as well as to arouse his imagination.
The history of the establishment of development closely related to Dufan tour at Ancol Beach location. During the reign of the Netherlands East Indies Governor-general Adriaan Valckenier Netherlands Indies named has a House by the beach at Ancol. The beach is very beautiful and is the resting place of Governors. As time passes the Governor’s retreat then turns into an attractive tourist attractions and is visited by many people until now.

Located at Jakarta Utara (North Jakarta), Ancol benefits from Java's coastline to the north. Taking advantage of the good location, a sort of giant park by the bay has been established here, along with some hotels, a theme park, a water park, an eco park, an adventure park, and the various stalls selling everything that line up the bay.

Sea World Ancol: Keajaiban Bawah Laut
Sea World Ancol merupakan salah satu tempat wista edukasi untuk anak. SeaWorld Ancol berada di dalam kawasan Ancol, Jakarta. Sesuai namanya, di tempat ini, Anda akan dikenalkan dengan berbagai biota laut yang beraneka ragam. Sea World Ancol memiliki beberapa spot menarik yang tidak akan membuat Anda bosan saat berada di tempat ini.
Setelah melewati pintu masuk, ada banyak aquarium yang dihuni satwa-satwa laut. Misalnya, Anda dapat melihat aquarium berisi ikan pari, belut, gurita, ikan badut, dan banyak jenis ikan lainnya dengan berbagai ukuran dan bentuk yang unik.
Salah satu satu ikan unik yang berada di tempat ini misalnya, ikan nanas (pineapple fish), sisik ikan ini menyerupai kulit nanas yang berwarna kuning keemasan. Atau juga ikan pari hidung pesek (cownose ray), salah satu spesies ikan pari.
Bersebelahan dengan ikan nanas, ada aquarium berisi gurita. Anak-anak pasti senang melihat gurita dari jarak dekat. Melihat uniknya gurita yang berkaki banyak dan tentakelnya yang menempel di kaca aquarium.
Kolam lain yang menjadi daya tarik di Sea World Ancol adalah adanya Kolam Ikan Hiu (Shark Pool). Kolam ini diisi belasan ikan hiu dari berbagai spesies. Misalnya, ikan hiu sirip hitam, hiu martil (hammerhead shark), dan salah satu yang unik adalah ikan hiu barongsai yang merupakan perpaduan ikan pari dan ikan hiu. Unik bukan?
Tidak hanya melihat ikan dan biota laut, pengunjung dapat berinteraksi dengan beberapa satwa di Kolam Sentuh (Touch Pool). Ada beberapa kolam sentuh. Kolam sentuh bintang laut, kolam sentuh penyu laut dan kolam sentuh ikan hiu. Anak-anak pasti senang bisa berinteraksi langsung dengan satwa laut di SeaWorld Jakarta.
Biota laut lain yang menarik untuk dilihat adalah Ubur-ubur (Jellyfish) di area bernama Jelly Sphere. Area yang dibuat gelap, Anda dapat melihat gemerlap ubur-ubur yang bergerak dalam kolam. Jenis ubur-ubur berbeda-beda dari ukuran maupun bentuknya. Suasana yang berbeda dan berlatar belakang gemerlap ubur-ubur yang ada di area ini membuat banyak pengunjung Sea World Ancol senang mengambil foto di sini.
Khusus untuk anak-anak, ada area Movie Theater. Di sini, anak-anak akan mewarnai gambar ikan. Setelah selesai, gambar yang telah diberi nama tersebut akan di scan dan tampil di layar yang menyerupai lautan. Pasti senang melihat gambar ikan yang telah diwarnai anak berenang-renang di lautan tersebut beserta tampilnya nama anak.
Satu bagian yang menjadi daya tarik di Sea World Ancol adalah Terowongan Bawah Laut sepanjang 80 meter yang disebut Terowongan Antasena. Anda akan berjalan melewati terowongan sambil melihat berbagai biota laut yang menarik. Misalnya, beberapa jenis ikan pari besar yang seperti terbang dan ikan kerapu yang berukuran besar. Berjalan di terowongan ini, membuat Anda seolah-olah berada di bawah laut dan melihat keajaiban bawah laut.
Anda juga bisa melihat berbagai hewan laut unik yang telah diawetkan. Dan yang cukup menarik adalah Interactive Aquarium. Akuarium ini berlubang di salah satu sisinya, namun air tidak tumpah sama sekali. Dari sisi yang berlubang, Anda bisa memasukkan tangan Anda ke dalam akuarium dan menikmati gigitan ikan-ikan kecil. Ini bisa terjadi karena prinsip hukum fisika yaitu Hukum Pascal fluida statis.
