Andalusian garden - Rabat - Morocco
Morocco (Arabic: المملكة المغربية al-Mamlakah al-Maghribiyah, lit. The Western Kingdom; Berber: ⵜⴰⴳⵍⴷⵉⵜ ⵏ ⵍⵎⴰⵖⵔⵉⴱ Tageldit n Lmaɣrib), is a sovereign country located in the Maghreb region of North Africa. Geographically, Morocco is characterized by a rugged mountainous interior, large tracts of desert, and a lengthy coastline along the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea.
Morocco has a population of over 33.8 million and an area of 446,550 km2 (172,410 sq mi). Its capital is Rabat, and the largest city is Casablanca. Other major cities include Marrakesh, Tangier, Tetouan, Salé, Fes, Agadir, Meknes, Oujda, Kenitra, and Nador. A historically prominent regional power, Morocco has a history of independence not shared by its neighbours. Since the foundation of the first Moroccan state by Idris I in 789, the country has been ruled by a series of independent dynasties, reaching its zenith under the Almoravid and Almohad dynasty, spanning parts of Iberia and Northwestern Africa. Marinid and Saadi dynasties continued the struggle against foreign domination, and Morocco remained the only North-African country to avoid Ottoman occupation. The Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling dynasty, seized power in 1666. In 1912 Morocco was divided into French and Spanish protectorates, with an international zone in Tangier, and regained its independence in 1956. Moroccan culture is a blend of Arab, indigenous Berber, Sub-Saharan African, and European influences.

Rabat Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Rabat in Morocco.
Rabat is the capital of Morocco and also its royal seat of power. The main residence of King Mohammed the Sixth is a fascinating modern metropolis. Along with its monumental works of art, it is the fourth oldest of the Makhzen cities, is also one of Morocco's most important.
Cafés and workshops reflect daily life and most of the city's souks are divided into specialized areas with items such as leather goods, blankets and carpets for sale and with a little haggling, it's possible to purchase quality handicrafts at a very modest price!
The Kasbah des Udayas was built by Yaqub al-Mansur in the 12th century. It is located at Rabat's most elevated point and is like a village within the city. The eight metre high wall once protected the Kasbah and its inhabitants. The fortress is inhabited to the present day.
Barred windows create an Andalusian ambience. The Kasbah is one of the most popular though most expensive addresses in Rabat.
Throughout the centuries, the Moroccan coast was dominated by pirates but the might of European colonialists put an end to their dubious activities.
The mausoleum of Mohammed V was built in 1967 and the tomb complex contains a mosque, a mausoleum and a small memorial that contains images of the king.
At the end of the 12th century, Yaqub al-Mansur constructed the largest mosque in the Maghreb. At a height of 60 metres, its minaret was taller than any other in North Africa. Four hundred columns support the prayer room and it has 14 gates.
Rabat is a fascinating capital city and royal residence - an exotic world that lies between both occident and orient.

Kasbah des Oudayas Rabat
Exotic Gardens | Tropical Gardens | Morocco - حديقة العجائب في المغرب
Superstar Kids family wants to share a charming video for a tour in the Exotic Gardens in Morocco since we've delivered a message to the kids through uncle and relatives during the short leave of Dad (Superstar Kids) in July 2019 before joining Superstar Kids vacation in Istanbul - Turkey (July - Aug 19).
The exotic gardens is located on the outskirts of the city of Sale, 15 kilometers from the capital Rabat, and was named exotic due to the variety of plants from different continents in unexpected place.
The park contains more than a thousand species of plants and trees some of them are rare to find, for this it was classified by UNESCO in 2005 as a human heritage.
The story of the creation of this park is back to the visit of the French agricultural engineer Marcel Francois to Bouknadel village in the early fifties of last century. Francois has been touring around the world before settling in Morocco. Francois has been known for his love of landscapes, and gardens in particular.
After the death of Francois, the house where he lived in turned into a museum containing pictures taken by himself from the scenes of this marvelous gardens.
The exotic gardens contains several groups of private gardens especially from Asia like the China and the Japan gardens. Other very popular gardens are the Congo and the Andalusian gardens. The exotic gardens includes as well a building for reptiles, and a group of wild birds such as the European pink ostrich, and parrots from Africa and Australia. The goal is to combine plants and animals that represent the ecosystem objects.
Hope this information shared looks sufficiency to pay a visit to the said location as it's worth to do so .
Looking forward sharing Superstar Kids family upcoming vacation in Istanbul.

MARRAKESH: EXPLORING BAHIA PALACE, magnificent FOUNTAINS and GARDENS (MOROCCO) ⛲
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go visit the magnificent Bahia Palace which is a palace and a set of gardens located in Marrakesh, Morocco. It was built in the late 19th century, intended to be the greatest palace of its time. The name means brilliance. As in other buildings of the period in other countries, it was intended to capture the essence of the Islamic and Moroccan style. There is a 2-acre (8,000 m²) garden with rooms opening onto courtyards.
Morocco, a North African country bordering the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, is distinguished by its Berber, Arabian and European cultural influences. Marrakesh’s medina, a mazelike medieval quarter, offers entertainment in its Djemaa el-Fna square and souks (marketplaces) selling ceramics, jewelry and metal lanterns. The capital Rabat’s Kasbah of the Udayas is a 12th-century royal fort overlooking the water.

Life in the patios of Cordoba
The Cordoba Patios Festival is a historic custom of the Andalusian city of Cordoba. “Patios” translates to courtyards in English and refers to the private courtyards which are hidden behind the walls and gates of the homes in the city. These patios have a interesting story and are an integral part of the rich history of Cordoba...
