SCUBA Diving in Havelock Andaman | Andaman Bubbles | PADI certified
Andaman Bubbles is a friendly dive centre located on Havelock Island in the Andamans. We opened our doors in December 2008. With a strong emphasis placed on safety, we offer professional quality service, but in a flexible relaxed manner. We here at Andaman Bubbles have a strong passion for the island and the sea that surrounds it. We look forward to sharing that passion with you, not just as our customers but also as our friends. We have new and well-maintained equipment and have taken the step to have equipment quality above that of standard rental gear you find with most dive centers. We hope this will offer our customers as well as experienced divers the opportunity to consider if they really need to bring their own equipment. We stock Apeks fully balanced regulators, Seaquest BCDs, open heel fins, shoes, masks and a selection of short/long wetsuits. Also Suunto dive computers/compasses and digital cameras are available for rent. We also have 72 12-liter cylinders with yoke valve and 10 with din inserts for customers with Din first stage. For those that tend to be a bit heavy on air, we have four 15 liter cylinders and for the smaller divers four 10 liter cylinders. We have a German built L&W 300 Nautic compressor with digital maintenance system to prevent any contamination in the cylinders. We follow the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) as well as Scuba Schools International (SSI) general standards and recommendations. Most of our dive sites are suitable for all diver levels and certifications. But, a few require Advanced open water certificate and more experience due to depths and possibilities for strong currents. If you wish to further your diving education one of our experienced instructors would be happy to assist you. We offer almost all SSI and PADI courses from recreational diving to professional diving.

Havelock Island (Hindi: हॅवलॉक द्वीप) is the largest of the islands that comprise a chain of islands to the east of Great Andaman in the Andaman Islands. It belongs to the South Andaman administrative district, part of the Indian union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.[5] The island is 41 km (25 mi) northeast of the capital city, Port Blair.Etymology[edit]
Havelock Island is named after a British general, Sir Henry Havelock, who served in India.HistoryBeaches[edit]
Radhanagar Beach on the western coast, also known as Number 7 Beach, is one of the most popular beaches on Havelock and was named Best Beach in Asia by Time in 2004.[10] Other notable beaches include Elephant Beach on the northwest coast and Vijay Nagar Beach (No. 5), Beach No. 3 and Beach No. 1 on the east coast. Kalapathar is another famous beach
Havelock is one of the few places that the administration of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands union territory of India has permitted and encouraged development of tourism, with a focus on promoting eco-tourism.
Havelock Island avoided much of the devastation by the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and its resulting tsunami and there were no documented casualties.
There is a lighthouse at the northern point of the island, near Govinda Nagar, established in 2005.Geography
The island belongs to the Ritchie's Archipelago and is located between Peel Island and Neill Island.
Scuba diving is a mode of underwater diving where the diver uses a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (scuba) which is completely independent of surface supply, to breathe underwater.[1] Scuba divers carry their own source of breathing gas, usually compressed air,[2] allowing them greater independence and freedom of movement than surface-supplied divers, and longer underwater endurance than breath-hold divers.[1] Open circuit scuba systems discharge the breathing gas into the environment as it is exhaled, and consist of one or more diving cylinders containing breathing gas at high pressure which is supplied to the diver through a regulator. They may include additional cylinders for range extension, decompression gas or emergency breathing gas.[3] Closed-circuit or semi-closed circuit rebreather scuba systems allow recycling of exhaled gases. The volume of gas used is reduced compared to that of open circuit, so a smaller cylinder or cylinders may be used for an equivalent dive duration. Rebreathers extend the time spent underwater compared to open circuit for the same gas consumption; they produce fewer bubbles and less noise than open circuit scuba which makes them attractive to covert military divers to avoid detection, scientific divers to avoid disturbing marine animals, and media divers to avoid bubble interference.[1]
Scuba diving may be done recreationally or professionally in a number of applications, including scientific, military and public safety roles, but most commercial diving uses surface-supplied diving equipment when this is practicable. Scuba divers engaged in armed forces covert operations may be referred to as frogmen, combat divers or attack swimmers.[4]
A scuba diver primarily moves underwater by using fins attached to the feet, but external propulsion can be provided by a diver propulsion vehicle, or a sled pulled from the surface.[5] Other equipment includes a mask to improve underwater vision, exposure protection, equipment to control buoyancy, and equipment related to the specific circumstances and purpose of the dive. Some scuba divers use a snorkel when swimming on the surface. Scuba divers are trained in the procedures and skills appropriate to their level of certification by instructors affiliated to the diver certification organisations which issue these certifications.[6] These include standard operating procedures for using the equipment and dealing with the general hazards of the underwater environment, and emergency procedures for self-help and assistance of a similarly equipped diver experiencing problems. A minimum level of fitness and health is required by most training organisations, but a higher level of fitness may be appropriate for some applications.[

Mud volcano eruption in Andaman ???? ????
These mud volcanoes were found deep in the forests of Diglipur, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. They were very much active and spouting bubbles and flow of mud all around the place.
The mud found in mud volcanoes is usually formed as water heated deep below the Earth's surface mixes and blends with subterranean mineral deposits. This creates the mud slurry exudate which is then forced upwards due to local subterranean pressure imbalances through a geological fault or fissure.

Scuba Diving in India gives you outstanding views of tropical underwater ocean life.
Having got used to the equipment, the warm waters, yes 32°C and so on... we started to enjoy the dives. We saw some of the most amazing marine life that one can see anywhere in the world in tropical waters. Incredible coral reefs greeted us when we hit barely 21 metres below sea level.

Andaman Island - Havelock- Scuba Dive
This is a video which was taken on my trip to Andaman Island, and had opted for Scuba dive in Havelock Island. If you are visiting Andaman please don't miss this opportunities.
Locked On The Havelock - Andaman Islands | Neil Island | Port Blair | Baratang Island | Scuba Diving
Detached geographically from the Indian subcontinent, the Andaman & Nicobar islands are home to the most pristine white sand beaches, turquoise blue water, limestone caves, active volcanoes and dense forests still holding undiscovered civilizations.
Apart from natural beauty, these islands witnessed a brutal history of the Indian Independence struggle. It has scars of various battles between aboriginal tribes and the British army.
The crystal clear water, vibrant corals and unspoiled aquatic life offer amazing scuba diving sites. Also, staying at the eco-friendly beach resorts can be the perfect gateway from monotonous daily life.
There are so many things I explored and understood while roaming around this emerald archipelago. his travelogue covers most of the things. But for more details, you can always visit -
