Poo Dam is a popular restaurant with Thai locals and tourists alike. It is not far from the centre of Krabi Town, more or less opposite Krabi Town’s black crab statue on the Krabi River. The restaurant serves a wide variety of authentic Thai meat and seafood dishes. I've eaten there many times and the food is always good! Make sure you try some real food of Thailand when you're on holidays here, I think Thai cuisine is some of the tastiest Asian cuisine and some of the best food in the world!
Subscribe to my channel if you want more videos on what to do and see in Ao Nang and Krabi, and Thailand in general. THAILAND HOLIDAY - KRABI (THE BEST OF THAILAND)
THAILAND'S TOP ISLANDS TO VISIT
WEEKLY VIDEOS - SUBSCRIBE
Currently we are exploring and creating content in beautiful Krabi Thailand. Here you can find many islands just a short boat trip away. From Ko Poda to Phi Phi island to Railey Beach. Thailand has some of the most spectacular islands to visit, with exceptional snorkelling and water clarity. We have spent many days out on the water just soaking in the sun and enjoying the warm tropical water.
A Thailand holiday is a must, it is very cheap here, the locals are super friendly and the culture is very educational. And to top it all off you have amazing beaches and islands to visit. Some of my favourite beaches include , Tonsai, Railey Beach, Chicken Island, Ao Nang and many more. The sunsets from any of these beaches are mind blowing.

Kingdom of Thailand
Kingdom of Thailand
Thailand (play /ˈtaɪlænd/ TY-land or /ˈtaɪlənd/ TY-lənd;[8] Thai: ประเทศไทย, RTGS: Prathet Thai), officially the Kingdom of Thailand (Thai: ราชอาณาจักรไทย, RTGS: Ratcha Anachak Thai; IPA: [râːt.tɕʰā ʔāːnāːtɕàk tʰāj] ( listen)), formerly known as Siam (Thai: สยาม; RTGS: Sayam), is a country located at the centre of the Indochina peninsula in Southeast Asia. It is bordered to the north by Burma and Laos, to the east by Laos and Cambodia, to the south by the Gulf of Thailand and Malaysia, and to the west by the Andaman Sea and the southern extremity of Burma. Its maritime boundaries include Vietnam in the Gulf of Thailand to the southeast, and Indonesia and India in the Andaman Sea to the southwest.
The country is a constitutional monarchy, headed by King Rama IX, the ninth king of the House of Chakri, who, having reigned since 1946, is the world's longest-serving head of state and the longest-reigning monarch in Thai history.[9] The king of Thailand is titled Head of State, Head of the Armed Forces, the Upholder of the Buddhist religion, and the Defender of all Faiths.
Thailand is the world's 51st-largest country in terms of total area, with an area of approximately 513,000 km2 (198,000 sq mi), and is the 20th-most-populous country, with around 64 million people. The capital and largest city is Bangkok, which is Thailand's political, commercial, industrial and cultural hub. About 75% of the population is ethnically Thai, 14% is of Chinese origin, and 3% is ethnically Malay;[1] the rest belong to minority groups including Mons, Khmers and various hill tribes. The country's official language is Thai. The primary religion is Buddhism, which is practiced by around 95% of the population.
Thailand experienced rapid economic growth between 1985 and 1996, and is presently a newly industrialized country and a major exporter. Tourism also contributes significantly to the Thai economy. There are approximately 2.2 million legal and illegal migrants in Thailand, and the country has also attracted a number of expatriates from developed countries.

Hi friends,
I am Harbir Singh.Welcome to our you tube channel Indian Traveler.
About this video:-
------------------------------
In this video,Krabi, the capital of southern Thailand's Krabi Province, is a resort town near the Andaman coast. It lies in an area of limestone karsts and mangrove forest. On a hilltop reached by stairs, the Tiger Cave Temple is a Buddhist site with panoramic views. Khao Kanab Nam, 2 slanting hills rising out of water, form a local landmark. Andaman Sea destinations like the Phi Phi Islands are accessible by ferry.
Krabi Town is a market Thai town that was around long before international tourists started to visit the area. It's charming, laid back, and as much as the word is overused, it's very local. Tourism has arrived, but Krabi Town doesn't jump through hoops to bring in foreigners; as the main commercial and transit point for the province, it doesn't need to. Its unique personality is a welcome contrast to the surrounding beach areas.
The river is a hub of activity with fishing boats and river taxis ferrying both locals and visitors to spots near and far and the pier to the west of town is the place to catch a ride to the surrounding beaches and islands. Many visitors hurry to the big name destinations - Railay, Ao Nang, Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi - getting in and out of town as quickly as possible. But for those interested in a dose of genuine Thai culture and hospitality, sticking around Krabi Town is a rewarding experience.
