Since 1962, over 1,200 sounding and sub-orbital rockets of various configurations have been launched from the site.
Andøya Space Center is a civilian aksjeselskap (limited liability company) with its ownership split between two groups: 90% by the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry, and 10% by Kongsberg Defence Systems company. It operates on a commercial basis but is operated by the Norwegian Space Agency, a government agency within the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Andøya Space Center also remotely supports the SvalRak launch facility in Svalbard to the north. The facility has provided operations for both ESA and NASA missions and scientific research.
Lofoten & Senja Лофотенские острова и остров Сенья 2019 Норвегия
Lofoten is an archipelago and a traditional district in the county of Nordland, Norway. Lofoten is known for a distinctive scenery with dramatic mountains and peaks, open sea and sheltered bays, beaches and untouched lands. Though lying within the Arctic Circle, the archipelago experiences one of the world's largest elevated temperature anomalies relative to its high latitude.
Лофотенские острова расположены в суровых водах Норвежского моря, за Полярным кругом. Это край дикой, необузданной природы, величественных гор, глубоких фьордов, шумных птичьих колоний и длинных песчаных пляжей.
Senja (Norwegian) or Sážžá (Northern Sami) is an island and future municipality in Troms county, Norway. At 1,586.3-square-kilometre (612.5 sq mi),[1] it is the second largest island in Norway (outside of the Svalbard archipelago). It has a wild, mountainous outer (western) side facing the Atlantic, and a mild and lush inner (eastern) side.[2] The island is governed by four municipalities: Torsken, Tranøy, Lenvik, and Berg, however on 1 January 2020, the four municipalities are scheduled to be merged into one large Senja Municipality. The island of Senja had 7,864 inhabitants as of 1 January 2017. Most of the residents live along the eastern coast of the island, with Silsand being the largest urban area on the island. The fishing village of Gryllefjord on the west coast has a summer-only ferry connection to the nearby island of Andøya: the Andenes–Gryllefjord Ferry.

Fløya or Fløyfjellet is a mountain adjacent to the town of Svolvær in Vågan Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The 590-metre (1,940 ft) tall mountain is located near the southeastern shore of the island of Austvågøya in the Lofoten archipelago.
The mountain was historically called Svålen or Svolen and now that name usually refers to one of the lower peaks on the east side of the mountain.[2]
The mountain is popular among climbers, in particular Svolværgeita, a 150 m (490 ft) high pinnacle at the southern face of Fløya, which resembles a goat with two horns.

Kjølnes lighthouse (Kjølnes fyr)
The lighthouse was established in 1916, destroyed during World War II, rebuilt in 1949, and automated in 1994. It was listed as a protected site in 1998. The lighthouse has been used as a guest house/rental cottage since 1994 when it was automated and the keeper's house was no longer occupied.
Berlevåg
The municipality of Berlevåg was established on 1 January 1914 when it was separated from Tana Municipality. Initially, there were 784 residents.
Svartoks and Revnes breakwaters - impressive harbour defences built with thousands of 4-armed concrete blocks, or tetrapods.
Facing rough ocean conditions, the four man-made breakwaters that protect the harbor of Berlevåg have been destroyed several times due to bad weather. The current breakwaters include tetrapods that intertwine and have made for a flexible breakwater that can resist the Barents Sea. The port was completely secured with breakwaters in 1973. Since then, the Coastal Ferry has been able to dock in Berlevåg. Prior to that time, a smaller vessel had to unload cargo and passengers
Gun Battery Veinesodden
In the summer of 1942 the German army started construction of a gun battery on Veinesodden in northernmost Norway. The five French guns had a caliber of 155 mm. and a range of almost 19 kilometers.
The battery had a crew of 140 soldiers and was, over the next 2 years, continuously expanded. These expansions included among others an old French Renault FT tank, which still partly exists today.
As part of this withdrawal, four of the guns were, in October 1944, moved first to Harstad and next to Mele on Andøya. The last gun was, along with other parts of the gun battery, blown up.
After the Germans capitulation civilians quietly returned and in September 1945 the last Russian troops left Northern Norway.

My Hometown Nynäshamn (2009) (HD)
(January 24th, 2010)
I grew up in Nynäshamn, Sweden, and lived there between 1977-1997. This shortfilm was filmed last summer while I was back home visiting my Mom. I wanted to create a tiny production to get to know my new camera and its new firmware, so I thought that a tribute to my hometown would be nice. I didn't want this production to be too abstract (like many of my other creations), more like a collection of video postcards.
Please note that this is was scaled down from 1080p and is now low-quality 720p.
Thank you for watching!

Hofsøy is furthest south of Senja. It is one of several small villages on the peninsula Stonglandet. Stonglandet is located in Tranøy municipality in Troms and is connected to the rest of the island through the Stonglandseidet. Other settlements located on Stonglandet are Valvåg, Lekangsund and Stangnes located on the eastern and south side, while Hofsøy is in the west.
On Hofsøya there are several memory areas with burial mounds and house lifts. In the 1970s, a long house from the Iron Age was discovered during an excavation.
THE LAST SNOW (Official movie) 4K!!
LEET’S GO!!!
So this is the video I have been hyping up in a couple of days now, and I hope you enjoyed it! And if you want to see another one let me know.
Video facts.
This video is filmed on Senja, Norway. Senja is the second largest island in Norway; it is located in northern Norway, and has a population of 7,808. Senja is located along the Troms county coastline with Finnsnes as the closest town. Senja is connected to the mainland by the Gisund Bridge. The municipalities located on Senja are Lenvik (part of which is on the mainland), Berg, Torsken, and Tranøy. Senja had 7782 inhabitants as of 1 January 2008.
The northern coasts of Senja faces the open sea, the western coast faces Andøya and Krøttøya, the southern coast faces Andørja and Dyrøya. Here, on the western coast, steep and rugged mountains rise straight from the sea, with some fishing villages (like Gryllefjord, Husøy) wherever there is some lowland. The eastern and southern parts of the island are milder, with rounder mountains, forests, rivers and agriculture land.
Senja is often referred to as Norway in miniature, as the island's diverse scenery reflects almost the entire span of Norwegian nature. Senja is well known domestically for its beautiful scenery, and is marketed as a tourist attraction, and the name of this film is “The last snow” Because up here, the snow is melting and it is becoming summer time. See you tommrow!!
