Mulshi Bhushan dormitary type resort at Kolvan Valley .(Saturday 27-6-2009)
The rustic dormitory style Bungalow Mulshi Bhushan at Kolvan near Lonavala. Residing here amidst pure unpolluted natural air and lush foliage makes one wonder whether densely populated and highly polluted Mumbai is only a mere 2 1/2 hrs drive by road from here? The beauty and fascination of India is its cultural, religious and linguistic diversity and at Mulshi Bhushan ,a torist ,could experience authentic rustic Maharashtrian culture and cuisine, a specialty of Kolvan region.

Waterfall incident in India sweeps family into the water
Had the irrigation and PWD departments been more sensitive, this incident would not have take place.
We display this video in an effort to create awareness about the dangers of monsoon flash floods across India, and to pay homage and obeisance to the people involved in the incident. If we can create some awareness out of this video, some very modest amount of good can come out of the terrible tragedy that befell this family. We bow our heads to the loss of life and convey our deepest sympathies and condolences to the family concerned.
Fortunately, there were also survivors in the group, despite the fall from a great height, with the flow of the waterfall.
This tragic accident happened at the Patalpani waterfall in Indore, when a father and his 4 kids celebrated the MBA graduation of the oldest daughter and got surprised by the freak flood. A tragedy for these 3 family members resulted - the father and 2 girls died while the 2 boys are alive.
This is the original video of the Indore Patalpani accident that was caused by a flash flood. Wilderness Films India has exclusive rights to this video.

However, once it streams through New Delhi, it turns into one of the filthiest rivers in the world. Rapid urbanisation is partly to blame, but so is lax enforcement of laws against illegal dumping

Ranganadi Dam - Arunachal Pradesh
Ranganadi Dam top view taken from Poosa village of Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh, India.
The Ranganadi Dam is a concrete-gravity diversion dam on the Ranganadi River in Arunachal Pradesh, India which serves a run-of-the-river scheme. The dam is intended for hydroelectric purposes and is part of Stage I of the Ranganadi Hydro Electric Project and supports the 405-megawatt (543,000 hp) Dikrong Power House. The 68 m (223 ft) tall dam diverts water south into a 10.1 km (6.3 mi) headrace tunnel which is then transferred into a 1,062 m (3,484 ft) penstock before reaching the three 135 megawatts (181,000 hp) turbines.Since commissioning, the power house has been generating much less than its capacity because of drought.
Stage II of the project is designed to provide water storage for Stage I and includes a 134 m (440 ft) rock-fill embankment dam with a 523,000,000 m3 (1.85×1010 cu ft) storage capacity. This dam will support an additional 180 megawatts (240,000 hp) power station.
