Dubs & Brews home brew hazy ipa
This past few months have been pretty busy but ive been wanting to upload a video showing what Ive been doing. Truly putting the brews in dubs & brews. The process takes roughly 4 weeks or so, or more but the end result is well worth it. As i continue to grow in my knowledge of craft beer, it puts me that much closer to being able to share my craft with the world. Stay tuned and stay thirsty.
Big shoutout to everyone who makes this possible. My beautiful and amazing wife first and foremost for believing in me and motivating me. And to my friends, family, and well wishers, THANK YOU!

#833 Titanic Brewery | Plum Porter 4.9%ABV (British Ale)
Brewery - Titanic Brewery
Location - Burslem, Staffordshire, UK ????????
Beer - Plum Porter
Style - English Porter
ABV - 4.9%
IBUs - Not Available.
Reviewed on - 18th December 2017.
Commercial Description - This beer is dark strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Goldings hops and natural plum flavouring. Take the opportunity and go for the low hanging fruit, this sumptuous beer really is a plum!

Titanic Brewery:
Titanic Brewery was founded in 1985, now run by brothers Dave and Keith Bott, the ethos is still the same; to brew great beer locally for local people.
Using only the very finest ingredients money can buy the opulence shines out of the glass, whether the beer is drunk in one of our pubs, in one of our Blue Riband partner pubs, one of our fabulously supportive local customer’s pubs or at home we are looking for the same reaction, I’ll have another one of those please.

As with most legal matters, answering the question of what exactly happens when a person is accidentally declared dead varies from country to country, although, curiously, from our research, with some exceptions like a few instances we found in Canada particularly, it seems as if the United States is one of the few countries where the aftermath of this can be long term devastating to the unlucky individual, even after they get declared alive again.

Ian McIntosh - Sea Change Brewing Co.
Sea Change Brewing Co. is a microbrewery led by musicians, artists, and seasoned craft brewers. A progressive addition to the lively Edmonton craft beer community. Almost all the partners played in bands or has punk-rock histories. Sea Change is an artist driven ship, focused on diverse, unpretentious beers and great service.
Their lineup is as they call it, “crushable”. With an average of 5% alcohol by volume, Sea Change makes a beer that's drinkable, accessible, and well balanced. Their lineup kicked off with a Blonde Ale and has extended to a New England Pale Ale, a Session Ale, and an Irish Red Ale.
Winning awards and selling as much product as they are, Sea Change has really set themselves apart from other microbreweries. In its first year of production their New England Pale Ale won a gold medal at the Alberta Brewing Awards. Therefore, this success has allowed for the creation of seasonal options in addition to consistent product development.
Sea Change's punk rock roots ingrained them with a D.I.Y. work ethic that influenced the creation of the brewery. Ian and his partners designed and constructed everything in-house, and gives the brewery a vibe that's authentic to them. Bold illustrative branding anchors the punk influence and makes their products instantly recognizable on the shelf.
The Edmonton area is instrumental to their success and as a homage to #YEG, Sea Change included local materials throughout the space. For example, Ian constructed the taproom tables with thick wooden slabs salvaged from the Cloverdale foot bridge.
In conclusion, Sea Change is growing quickly and ready to keep bringing quality crushable beers to the market. Keep an eye out for their Session Ale that launches this July across Alberta in addition to the rest of their lineup.

Labatt Porter : Albino Rhino Beer Review
James and Boychuk brought back a very large beer haul for me, and well this is one of the ones that interested me the most. Labatt Porter, I am not a big Labatt fan there is two or three labatt products I will drink but for the most part I don't touch these beers, but the labatt proucts I get here are all golden lagers and well those just do nothing for me.
This however is a porter, I love porters, james loves porters so the two of us review this beer that we may love or we may dislike very strongly, but it is up in the air right now which will it be.
Lets find out.
Wold Top Scarborough Fair IPA
Ale Degustation presents English IPA: Wold Top Scarborough Fair IPA
Brewed by: Wold Top Brewery
Strong and well hopped for the voyage sending IPA from the Wolds to the World. Interestingly brewed with a pale Wold grown malt base, a triple hop blend and Maize for the head retention.
Such triple hopped beers need hot full flavoured foods to accompany them!

In this Episode of DJs BrewTube I review Great Lakes Brewing Co. Blackout Stout ▼ 2012 Vintage ▲. Great Lakes Brewing Co. Blackout Stout ▼ 2012 Vintage ▲ is a Russian Imperial Stout that clock in at, 9.0% ABV.however. This beer is one that Great Lakes Brewing Co. seems to take particular pride in brewing. I am big fan of RISs and am always on the hunt for a good one. Great Lakes Brewing Co. describes Blackout Stout ▼ 2012 Vintage ▲as follows:
Name Origin:
Named for the infamous Blackout of 2003 that left the Northeastern United States in complete darkness, Blackout Stout is a pretty useful friend to have around. Hearty and resourceful, he knows how to make his own fun. Crack open a bottle and you will too.
Flavor: Rich malt body and bold hop flavor
MALT
Harrington 2-Row Base Malt: Allows color and flavor from other specialty malts to come through; makes for very clean beer
Crystal 77: Contributes to color and adds sweeter aroma and flavor
Black Malt: Provides deep, rich color
Roasted Barley: Adds color and roasted flavor
HOPS
Simcoe: Unique, non-traditional bittering hop; provides high levels of bitterness to counteract the beer's heavy malt
Northern Brewer: Traditional bittering hop for English-style ales; very different from Simcoe, but added together to add complexity to the hop profile.
Composition
Malt: six imported 2 row malts
Hops: four varieties of American whole flower hops
ABV: 8.7%
This sounds quite tasty. Lets see if Great Lakes Brewing Co. Blackout Stout ▼ 2012 Vintage ▲ lives up to its description. Hope you enjoy the video, my written review and report card follows:
Great Lakes Brewing Co. Blackout Stout ▼ 2012 Vintage ▲ WRITTEN REVIEW:
A - Great Lakes Brewing Co. Blackout Stout ▼ 2012 Vintage ▲pours as the name suggests opaque with a half finger of creamy fluffy mocha head. Some thin spotty lacking clings the glass and alcohol legs abound.
S - Smell is of dark malt roast, coffee, caramel, toffee, dark bitter baking chocolate, cocoa, dark fruits, and maybe a bit of faint herbal hops. No alcohol is detectable in the aroma.
T - Taste is of thick dark chocolate, powdery cocoa and coffee with hints of vanilla, dark roast malts and caramel / toffee notes. The 9.0%. AVB is quite well hidden. No alcohol noticeable whatsoever. Faint citric / herbal hop presence is noticeable when this beer is fresh but this trait is gone after a year int eh cellar.
M - Feel is smooth and creamy, with just a bit of milk chocolate / coffee bean roast / bitterness lingering on the palate. Medium bodied with great carbonation.
O - Great Lakes Brewing Co. Blackout Stout ▼ 2012 Vintage ▲overall, is a wonderful example of a RIS, that packs very nice flavor complexity and well hidden alcohol. I would just love to see what the barrel aged version of this is like. This beer cellared very well and is a great RIS that I recommend and will drink again.
