Some words about the history of this ship
She was ordered in 1979 as Stena Polencia from Stena Line to Stocznia Yard in Poland as the third of four sisters. Stena Germanica and Stena Scandinavica, however, joined Stena Line with a big delay, in 1987, so the third and the fourth ship orders were cancelled. This ship, which had to be named Stena Polonica was sold to Fred Olsen Lines and named Bonanza, but soon resold uncompleted to Anek Lines. Renamed El. Venizelos, as a Cretan - Born the famous first minister the ship was finished in Perama Yards under new plans and introduced in 1993 on Trieste - Ancona - Igoumenitsa - Corfu - Patras line.Sometimes she is also used on Piraeus-Chania route( in general during the winter)

Ένα από τα καμάρια της ελληνικής επιβατηγού ναυτιλίας και από τα καλύτερα επιβατικά οχηματαγωγά πλοία στον κόσμο συνολικά, ταξιδεύει στο Arxipelagos.
Μέσα από το φακό μας θυμόμαστε όμορφες στιγμές στη θάλασσα της Αδριατικής με το Hellenic Spirit, σε ένα ταξίδι που είχαμε πραγματοποιήσει το 2012 από την Πάτρα μέχρι την Ανκόνα.
Το όμορφο, μεγάλο πλοίο της Anek Lines ναυπηγήθηκε το 2000 στη Νορβηγία από τα γνωστά ναυπηγεία Fosen. Έχει μήκος 204 μέτρα, πλάτος 25,80 και ταξιδεύει με 4 κύριες μηχανές Wärtsilä 50400 kw που του επιτρέπουν ανώτατη ταχύτητα 32 κόμβων.

#PIRAEUS #PIRAEUSPORT #PiraeusPort #ANEK #AnekLines ANEK Lines El.Venizelos arrives at Piraeus Port on 31.8.2015 and local time 09.00 carrying about 2500 immigrants mostly from Syria who were at North Aegean Islands after having entered Greece from Turkey via sea illegaly in most of cases.

My first video onboard of a ferry boat to change a little of plane and replace the Full Flight of my flight OA339 that I couldn't make because the flight was at night. Sorry for the quality because I filmed in Time-lapse mode and it was not terrible with frame per second.
