Angels Road, Shodoshima in Japan
My Fiancée and I visited Shodoshima and the Great Seto Inland Sea In August 2016. While there we visited the famous Angels Road in the town of Tonosho.
It is believed that if walk across the sand bar to the first island hand in hand with your significant other, you will live a happy life together.
After walking to the first island, we found another larger sandbar to an even larger island that is used as a YMCA camp.

There are so many things to do and enjoy in Shodoshima Island, located in the Seto Inland Sea of the coast of Kagawa Prefecture in Shikoku. From driving along the Shodoshima Skyline to view the gorge near the Monkey Park and Kankakei Gorge to the paying homage to the temples on the Pilgrim Road, visitors could relax, explore, and find themselves. In addition, visitors may be interested in the Osaka Castle Stones or Angel Road.
Osaka Castle Stones/Michi No Eki
Shodoshima is well known for its quality stones. As a result, stones from the destruction of the Osaka Castle were shipped to Shodoshima to be restored and re-cut for the reconstruction of the Castle. Some of the stones still remain on the island and can be seen on the northeastern tip of the island.
Visitors interested in stone cutting may wish to visit the former site of a stone cutting workshop. Though closed now, there are still many unfinished stone pieces remaining for visitors to view. The Osaka Castle Stones Michi no Eki is another site for people interested in the castle stones to stop by. Michi no Eki literally means a station on the road, and this is a rest area for drivers and passengers. 有沒有想過在日本都可以感受到地中海希臘風情？事不宜遲，讓記者帶你去四國香川縣的小豆島吧！
自從香港有直航飛高松，去小豆島就更加方便，在高松機場下飛機後直接坐車去高松港，再搭渡輪就可以去到三個港口－－土庄港、池田港、草壁港。除了高松港，其實去小豆島都有很多不同方法，例如神戶新港、新岡山港等亦有渡輪到達。時間上，從高松港出發，只要一小時就會到達小豆島；神戶出發則需要三小時。
把這個島嶼命名為「小豆島」全因為它的形狀像小豆。但其實它完全不小，是瀨戶內海裏面的第二大島，面積比一個大嶼山還大！這裏除了有醬油、橄欖製品、素麵等特產聞名於世外，還有很美麗的自然風光。難怪是很多日本電影和日劇的取景地，例如《二十四隻眼睛》、《為了N》、《魔女宅急便》真人版電影等。這次就介紹小豆島的其中四大必訪！
【第一訪 橄欖園】
小豆島氣候有點像地中海，比較溫和少雨，所以很適合種植橄欖，銷量還冠絕日本。跟你們說一個冷知識，全個小豆島總共有三萬棵橄欖樹，主要集中在橄欖園，而日本的第一棵橄欖樹更是在這裏種植！不過來到橄欖園，有九成的旅客都是衝着這裏的希臘風情來的。小豆島和希臘的米洛斯島是姊妹島，因此這裏的建築物都充滿希臘風情，幾乎到處都是打卡位。而其中一定一定要拍照的位置就是米洛斯風車──這裏就是《魔女宅急便》真人版的拍攝場地。每個人都會到橄欖紀念館，免費租借掃把打卡。
【第二訪 天使之步道】
天使之步道也是必來的景點。小豆島上的土庄町銀波浦有三座小島，每當退潮的時候，就會出現一條沙路把三個島連接起來，而且一日只會出現兩次，十分難得。因此到訪前必須查清楚退潮時間，以免撲空。
聽說如果與心愛的人一起走這條沙堤，就可以實現夢想，以及好像童話故事般──永遠過着幸福快樂的生活。有時間的話，大家不妨走上展望台，俯瞰整個天使步道！
【第三訪 醬油之鄉】
小豆島除了橄欖外，醬油一樣很有名。這裏的醬油，普通做法是用鹽和大米釀造而成；而另一種特產就是「佃煮」，即是把小魚、海藻、蔬菜放進醬油烹煮而成，名副其實的醬油之鄉！
這裏有一個「丸金醬油紀念館」，其外觀為合掌屋造型，除了是國內最大規模的合掌屋，更在1996年登錄為日本國家有形文化財產。館內有醬油歷史及製作醬油過程供參觀，由於有真正的醬油釀造設備及醬油桶，館內有一陣陣的醬油氣味。在這裏待久了，好像有那麼一點餓的感覺。
【第四訪 森國酒造】
來到日本當然要喝sake！森國酒造是小豆島上唯一的酒造，標榜用好水好米釀成優質日本酒。酒的酒精濃度通常都是17度左右，如果想易入口一些，也有8度的可供選擇，記者試喝，不太嗆喉，竟有點像果汁。除了賣酒，這裏還有麵包店和咖啡廳，利用酒做出不同的酒粕料理，和用甘酒做出超鬆軟麵包。不過就算客人不太喜好酒，其實都可以在這裏靜靜地感受這裏復古的氣氛。
