Hiking Angels Rest Trail in Oregon - Adventure Strong
Angel's Rest is one of the classic Columbia River Gorge hikes. It's a very popular hike, especially in the summer.
It's a moderate hike of roughly 5-miles round-trip. Parking is free, the main parking lot has roughly 25 parking spots but there is an overflow parking lot further down the road.

Bridal Veil Falls in Oregon
Come check out Bridal Veil Falls if you're visiting Portland! Bridal Veil Trails are located in Oregon's Columbia Gorge, and is only a short drive away from Portland.
It is an easy hike that's rewarded with beautiful scenery. Definitely family and kid-friendly.
Although there is a parking lot, parking space can be limited if you come during the summer and/or the weekends. Coming early in the morning will make finding parking easier.

2016 Pacific Northwest VetsWork Orientation - Angels Rest, Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area
During the 2016 VetsWork Orientation, our Pacific Northwest crew served on the beautiful Angels Rest trail in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
Switchbacks like this, where hikers/trail-runners cut corners, the crew posted signs and returned those sections back to a natural state. These are just a few photos and also a short timelapse of one of the sections we had the privilege of working on.

Wahclella Falls and Columbia Gorge Wildflowers
The Columbia River Gorge offers moments of magic through scenic beauty and adventure that come from poking around seldom-seen sites prized for spring time splendor. I call the mile-long trail to Wahclella Falls a “back-pocket hike” because it’s handy and easy to reach and just a stone’s throw from Bonneville Dam in the Columbia River Gorge.

Silver Falls Oregon Trail of Ten Falls | Two Girls Hiking
We took a drive south to Silver Falls State Park which has definitely been our favorite hike of them all! We checked out seven of the ten falls, and will be back for the other three in the near future. Our favorite waterfall was Middle North - we walked behind it and were completely in awe of it's power and beauty! Such a beautiful day chasing waterfalls.
