Siem Reap Bike Meet 3 // SRBM2019 // 23rd Nov 2019 // Siem Reap, Cambodia // Dara Pech Photography
A highlight video of Siem Reap Bike Meet 3 on the 23rd Nov 2019. SRBM was a great success with riders traveling from all over Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, to what is now being dubbed Cambodia Bike Week!
SRBM is a family friendly event, and the crowd reflected this with a broad and diverse range of people turning up on the day. There was amazing food, drinks, excellent live music and of course lots of bikes including Harley-Davidson, Indian Motorcycles, Kawasaki, Royal Enfield, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha , BMW, Vespa and more!
Many riding clubs and motorcycle enthusiasts decended upon the venue, traveling from all over South-East Asia to be a part of what is fast becoming Siem Reap's premiere social event.

What an amazing Airbnb rental this is. Fin's place is not just great, it's freaking awesome.
There are 5x bedrooms and and 3x of those rooms are doubles. So you could stay here with either a very large family or large travel crew and be super comfortable. There is large pool with fabulous gardens surrounding.
Near the pool there is a sitting area with a bar.
All the room have their own bathrooms.
Breakfast is included, order at night for the following morning. Just advise when ordering what time you would like it served. The owners prepare at their home a few doors down the street and bring it to you.
The vills also has it's own Tuk-Tuk so transport is no issue. Just tell the driver where you want to go and pay him for the trip.
There is in information sheet provided in all the rooms with average fare prices listed for places around town in case you don't use the house Tuk-Tuk.
You can even arrange all your tour activities in the villa. We did the sunrise Angkor Tour.
We paid just $138.07AU per night for the entire villa. There were only three of us so it worked out to just $46.02AU each per night.
Amazing value for such a fantastic property. If you had more people it would be crazy cheap.
We didn't get to meet Fin but his Lovely Wife took fantastic care of our needs. She was so friendly as were her staff.
You should book this!

Eric Clark's Travel Videos - Siem Reap Cambodia - Angkor Wat Tuk Tuk ride again. = )
You really do get used to the rides around town in the little rickety Tuk Tuk car thingy. = ) I think a full size car would be safer but this one is cheaper for him and easier to get around. However, I did find there were times when I was leaning into corners like being on a motor cycle... So I guess that makes me a bad passenger. LOL I lived and it all worked out. = )
My name is Eric Clark and I am a world traveler. I have been around the world a few times and decided to help fund my travels by sharing my videos and pictures. I have been to almost every country and would be glad to give tips and pointers. Drop me a note. = )

Hang Out in Siem Reap Town
I just arrived Krong Siem Reap from along way trip from Phnom Penh city. I stayed at Home-Sweet-Home guest house. My friend called me up and will pick me up in 15min. I need to rush and get ready soon to go out with him. I didn't take a shower and just walked out of my room to him waiting outside with his Honda Dream motorcycle. We hugged and said hello to each other. He drove me around town for about 10min. He then stopped at Steung Siem Reap to relax on the park. I just walked to people fishing at the stream next the bridge. They got lots of fishes, said he got 2kilo of fishes from fishing everyday. He throw me a Kampot fish, I called it balloon fish. I pick up the fish, walked to my friend. I then put the balloon fish back to water. Few minutes later, the fish blowed out the air and swim away. My friend need to go home help his family so I just wander around Siem Reap town alone. I bought a steamed corn to end my hunger and walked to Sivatha Street. I found 2 street food carts selling hotdogs, grilled chicken skewer, sausages on sticks, chicken gizzard on sticks and papaya salad. I had a papaya salad for 5000riel (USD1.25). I walked to Lucky mall and take a look in there. I got a set of burger, French fried, coke. After that, I continued walking to Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm and continue to the big park to see the water fountain, and people exercise dancing. It's just like in Phnom Penh city park in the evening. It's colorful lights on Steung Siem Reap in the evening with cool windy and the noise jungle & traffic. It's the noise of Angkor and the feeling of holiday. I just walked back to Home-Sweet-Home, that's where I can rest.
In this video, i used GoPro Hero 5 Black, iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, DJI Phantom 3 Standard.

VISITING ANGKOR WAT IN SEIM REAP, CAMBODIA
Today we are visiting Angkor Wat in Seim Real, Cambodia. Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument in the world, with the site measuring 162.6 hectares or 402 acres. It was originally constructed as a Hindu temple of god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire but it gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple toward the end of the 12th century.

Our itinerary:
Day 1:
= Arrived at Siem Reap
= Checked in at Khmer Cuisine Bed and Breakfast - THEY ARE THE BEST. They helped us with everything: getting a tuktuk, traveling from the airport to the hotel, reserving bus tickets to Battambang, and booking tours. And they did it free of charge. Their rooms aren't the cleanest or the biggest, but their topnotch service more than covers for it.
Day 2:
= Angkor Archaeological Park by bicycle - We don't suggest doing this unless you're on a really tight budget--like us! It's better if you hire a guide, since he'll be able to explain all about the temples and their significance.
Day 3:
= Phnom Kulen Tour with Angkor Wat Tour Guide - Our guide's name was Savan, and he is the most helpful and informative guide you will ever meet. He's just really awesome. We recommend this tour 'cause you can get reaaaally close to the waterfalls. You also get to see the Reclining Buddha and the Thousand Lingas.
= Landmine Museum - Visit this place, please. I was so overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of Aki Ra, the founder. He has made it his duty to rid Cambodia of landmines and provide assistance to all landmine victims. His story is both heartbreaking and inspiring; I wish I could have met him.
= Angkor National Museum - entertaining and informative. It's too bad we came in too late and we didn't get to see everything.
= Phare Circus - these guys are just freakin' amazing. I was blown away by their talent. The only thing I didn't like was the story, cause it seemed kind of underwhelming, but I liked everything else.
Day 4
= Bus to Battambang - costs $5 one-way
= Checked in at Star Hotel - Nice rooms! Really spacious, and it comes with a miniref and wardrobe! All for $15 a night!
= Bike Ek Phnom Tour with Butterfly Tours - A bit lacking in sights to see, but I think it's because it rained quite heavily. Heng and Vanna, our guides, are both college students who decided to work part-time to improve their English and interact with people. Both of them were very nice and they would do their best to explain the attractions you visit.
= Dinner at the Lonely Tree Cafe - This gets a special mention because we adore the place. The ambiance was good, the food was really tasty. The only down side is that the staff aren't very attentive, but maybe it's due to the language barrier, it's hard to say.
Day 5
= Bamboo Train - so chill, so awesome. You just sit on the bamboo mat and watch the scenery go by. You might occasionally get hit by random insects, but all in all, it's a pretty awesome ride.
= Sunset Tour with Quad Adventure ATV Tours - You get to ride an ATV around the country side and watch the sunset. Driving an ATV is aaaawesoooome. I'm a bad driver, but whatevs.
Day 6
= Royal Gardens - Not much to see, but there's a really nice fountain. And it seems really peaceful.
= Wat Bo Temple
= Sombai Infused Rice Spirit Shop - If you love drinking, look no further than this place. The drinks are really good, and they come in 7 flavors. My favorites are the Lemon-Lemongrass and the Ginger-Red Chili. The guy who attended to us--I'm sorry I forgot your name :( -- was very helpful and friendly; he let us taste all the drinks and let us have as much refills as we wanted. xD The packaging is nice; there are hand-painted bottles there that you can bring home to your family and friends.
= Pizza Presto CoCo - REALLY GOOD PIZZA. I admit, we only tried it because we got reeled in by their $1 pizza deal. Thin crust pizza with a generous amount of cheese and toppings. Damn. Just thinking about it is making me hungry.
= Angkor Cinema - personal cinema. You can watch any movie at any time for only $5. We watched The Killing Fields. a wonderful film about the Khmer Rouge which made us both cry.
= Night Market - has a lot of cheap shirts with surprisingly good designs. And those Cambodian pants are really comfortable. I also bought this 3D crocodile puzzle.
Day 7
= Back to our country
I think this is the best trip I have had so far. Thank you, Heng, Vanna, Savan, Sambath, the staff of Khmer Cuisine, that guy from Sombai, for making our trip to Cambodia totally awesome.
