After much planning, a group of coworkers, friends, and family was picked up by the Tampa Bay Brew Bus (brewbususa.com) and taken to 5 breweries of our choice in the Tampa Bay area. We enjoyed Tampa Bay Brewing, Angry Chair, Coppertail, Six 10, and Cigar City. We were then returned home after a very fun-filled, rewarding day.

Tampa Bay Beer Week kicks off
ABC Action News takes a look at why Tampa Bay Beer Week has exploded in popularity.
American Craft: What Beer Can Teach Us About Well-Crafted Laws
There’s never been a better time to be a beer drinker, with thousands of breweries across the country offering a virtually endless variety of beer. But it wasn’t always this way. After Prohibition ended, lawmakers didn’t legalize homebrewing—whether by design or by accident is unclear. While this didn’t dissuade underground homebrewers, it did prevent the commercialization and spread of craft beer. By the 1970s, fed up with the lack of variety in beer, consumers began to demand more freedom… and President Jimmy Carter delivered. (Yes, Jimmy Carter.) This documentary short by FedSoc Films explores the story behind the craft beer renaissance and the importance of well-crafted legislation.
Six experts and beer drinkers discuss the story of American Craft: Trevor Burrus (Cato Institute), Garrett Peck (historian and author), Daniel Vilarrubi (Atlas Brew Works), Justin Cox (Atlas Brew Works), Candace Moon (Dinsmore & Shohl), and Anastasia Boden (Pacific Legal Foundation).

Beer log: What the hell is hard seltzer? | The Craft Beer Channel
In a rare Sunday upload we ask what the hell is hard seltzer, and what is wrong with everyone? Already selling more than Bud Light in many US States, Hard Seltzer has taken America by storm and has just landed in the UK. We try two...and completely fail to understand it while simultaneously knowing it will be a huge success.

So not only doesn’t she like sours. She does not much like Raspberries either. What could possibly go wrong?

Disabled Veteran Attacked & Paralysed by Police
When 36 yer old disabled vet Jason Williams went to Walmart with his family, the clerk refused to sell him beer because his wife did not have an ID plus their two minor children were with them.
Mr. Williams became a little loud due to the rudeness of the clerk and her supervisor. Jason asked to see the policy and to make a formal complaint. The supervisor told him to wait. Instead of producing a complaint form, she actually called the police.
Jason Williams knows his rights. He became disabled protecting everyone's rights, He knows that a cop must have RAS, Reasonable Articulable Suspicion, before demanding identification. And he was going to insist on his rights, the ones he sacrificed for.
THE MUSKOGEE PUBLIC INFO OFFICER then releases a story to the Muskogee citizens that in no way matches Jason Williams video of events. They also conspired to arrest Williams. Viewers can help bring awareness to the elected officials of this town by redressing grievances with the contact numbers below.

Trooper Accused of Groping Woman During Traffic Stop
It looks like a routine traffic stop as a state trooper pulls over a woman driving a pickup truck. He asks for her license and registration, but what Patricia Wilson says happens next is anything but routine. The Tennessee State Trooper tells Patricia to put her hands on the hood of his police cruiser while he frisks her, but Patricia claims the trooper actually groped her. A field sobriety test follows and after 15 minutes, the mother of two is issued a ticket for not wearing a seat belt.

Forest & Main: are these the world's best wild saisons? | The Craft Beer Channel
We're back in Pennsylvania this week, visiting a brewery we didn't know too much about – Forest & Main. Off the back of just a few saisons at a festival, we decided they might just be worth the detour on our next US trip. What we found were some of the best saisons we've ever tried, as well as some excellent traditional real ale brewing in the heart of America.

Man Grabs McDonald’s Worker for Having to Ask for a Straw
A simple drinking straw led to a wild brawl at a Florida McDonald’s in St. Petersburg Monday. When a man in the restaurant was informed that drinking straws were only available to customers who ask for them, he became so upset that he grabbed the 20-year-old McDonald’s worker across the counter. But then, she fought back. What the man had failed to realize was that the employee is a trained boxer. The whole fight was caught on camera.
