The Angurukaramulla Temple is a very cool place to visit if you're in Negombo. It's best known for its epic statue of the Buddha, and its dragon-entrance - inside you find detailed murals that date back centuries. There is also a 300+ year old ruin of a historic library here, covered in moss.

Der Tag starte mit einer riesigen Papaya, die wir uns mit Katja teilten, bevor wir dann zum Zug gingen, um in die City von Negombo zu kommen. Einige Tempel standen auf dem Plan, sowie ein Fischmarkt und vieles mehr. Wir besorgten uns nun Tickets für 0,10 € am Kattuwa Bahnhof und fuhren los. Im Zug wurden wir wieder angeschaut, als kämen wir von einem anderen Planeten. Wir fanden das komisch, denn man sah hier schon hin und wieder Touristen. Das dürfte eigentlich nichts neues für die Menschen hier sein.
