Street performers in Macau to become legal
Starting on November 11, Macau government will allow street performers to showcase their talents on the street. Three areas have been designated: Green Taipa Houses, Mount Fortress, Anim'Arte Nam Van. 18 years is the minimum age to perform and the artists will need legal permission.

This was our short Itinerary in Macau
We visited the huge and coolest malls and hotels they have similar hotels too in Las Vegas.
Currency in Macau is Macanese Pataca / MOP = 0.12 USD.
Make sure you spend MOP before leaving Macau.
Language spoken in Macau is Macanese and English.
Morpheus Hotel is a must see hotel in Macau designed by Architect Zaha Hadid.
Bring cash with you anywehere especially some food stalls dont accept credit cards.
Don't find it rude when a stranger share a table with you it's a nice way of making friends!
Transportation is by Bus or Taxi. Some hotels though offer a free bus ride so you can get around Macau for cheap or almost for free.
Visit Senado Square you feel like you are transported to Portugal for a moment!
Grand Lisboa is also a cool looking hotel it looks like a pineapple on the outside and a lot of things to see inside the lobby.
The House of Dancing Water is a must see show in Macau that you don't want to miss!

A-Ma Festival 娘媽誕
娘媽又稱天后、媽祖。據說澳門這個名字源於這位女神。有一次¬漁民在中國南海捕魚，突然颳起狂風雷暴，最後，由娘媽幻化成少女並平息了風暴，使人們-脫離危險，平安抵達海鏡港。漁民們就在他們上岸的地方興建了一座廟宇 - 媽祖閣來供奉娘媽。娘媽最受澳門居民尊敬，天后廟殿多處可見，居民家中，尤其是漁民和¬水上居民的每條船上，都要供奉天后。每到誕期，前去天后廟參拜的人絡繹不絕。

Homage is paid to Macao's most popular deity, the Goddess of Seafarers, from whom Macao is said to derive its name. The maiden A-Ma (also known as Tin Hau) ordered the elements to calm down when a storm threatened a boat. The winds abated. On the spot where the boat reached land, the grateful mariners built the A-Ma Temple. A day when seafarers and their families visit the ancient temple in the Inner Harbour.

Feast of Pak Tai 北帝誕
誕期在農曆三月初三，北帝又稱玄武大帝，傳說他統管北方，又是水神。昔日，氹仔島上大¬部份是漁民，他們對掌管水族的北帝尤其祟拜，所以在當地修建了北帝廟，它是全澳唯一供¬奉北帝的廟宇。慶賀北帝誕的傳統還延續到今天，這裡的居民每逢誕期都會在廟前舉行盛大¬的賀誕活動，包括一連幾晚的神功戲及燒香酬神等活動，氣氛頗為熱鬧。

Performances of Chinese opera are usually held in a mat-shed at the Pak Tai Temple in Taipa village. According to legend, Pak Tai conquered Demon King, who was terrorizing the universe. As a reward he was given the title of Superior Divinity of the Deep Dark Heaven and True Soldier of the North. Chinese opera is performed by his temple on Taipa.

Macao Light Festival 2016 - Treasure of Light
This spectacular event of lights will come to life from the 4th to 31st December, presenting an array of 3D video mapping of historic architecture, light installations, interactive games and signature light shows with music spotted around the various locations in Macao.
The route covers a total of eight venues including Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre, Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Nam Van, Anim’Arte Nam Van, St. Lawrence’s Church, Mandarin’s House, Lilau Square, Moorish Barracks and Barra Square.
This years theme “Treasure of Light”, invites visitors and locals to embark on an adventure or quest as explorers to find the seven lost Energy Gems of the Goddess A-Ma, that symbolize the meaning of Hope, Perseverance, Health, Happiness, Harvest, Bravery and Faithfulness.
By collecting the seven gems, explores will awaken the treasures from the sea and enjoy a virtual reality tour beyond their imagination.
It's fun for all participants, young and old...
Date: 4th to 31st December
Time: 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm
3D Video Mapping:
7 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9 p.m., 9:30 p.m. and 9:55 p.m. Each show duration is 5minutes.
Venues: Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre, Mandarin's House, Lilau Square and Barra Square.
* 3D video mapping show and light installation at Barra Square will be temporarily suspended from 10th to 14th December.
Music and Light Show:
Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and 8, 20, 21, 26/12, 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm (a 15min performance every 30min)
