In the city of Badalona, 15km away from Barcelona, the historical Pont del Petroli is a former dock built for the unloading of petroleum products from tankers and, since 2009, remodeled as a space for leisure and scientific use. It is located on the beach of Pont del Petroli, opposite the Passeig Marítim of the Progrés neighborhood, entering the sea about 250 m with a height of 6 m.

The first oil bridge in Badalona was built in 1879 by the company Suari and Canals, in order to unload the oil from the ships and it was mainly made of wood. The current Pont del Petroli was built in 1965 by the company CAMPSA and was used as a dock for unloading until 1990.
After being abandoned for industrial purposes, the Pont became the main diving area of Badalona, in part due to its facilities, as no boats or ships would be allowed to dock.
In 2001 the intention to dismantle the dock was announced, but a group of divers, photographers and other friends of the Pont del Petroli, headed by the citizien Josep Valls, mobilized to defend the conservation of this representative structure of the zone.
Josep Valls was chosen Citzen of Badalona of the year in 2011 for his restless activities and the City Hall honored him in 2013 with a plaque at the entrance to the dock. At the end of the bridge there is another plate, this one with a poem that was written by Jordi Sarsanedas after a visit to the Pont del Petroli on April 4, 2006.
In 2003, it became the property of the Badalona Town Council (Ajuntament de Badalona) and, after various stages of restoration, it was opened to the public on the 13th of june 2009, enabled as a walk that leads into the sea as a vantage point unpublished city.
Three years later it was integrated with the rest of the seafront. In the entrance platform of the bridge, very close to the factory of Anís del Mono, a sculpture by Susana Ruiz dedicated to the historic factory was inaugurated.

The Reina Sofia Museum is a must-see in Madrid, with 17,000 contemporary pieces of art, including Pablo Picasso's Guernica. You can look at paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings, sketches, installations, and more at the Reina Sofia, which puts Spanish contemporary art in an international context. In this video, there is a focus on Juan Gris. Around the time of the war, Gris created one of his greatest works, La Botella del Anis del Mono. The label of the Anis bottle is very noticeable in this work of art, and it had already been depicted in other cubist paintings. Robert Robenbloom's study showed that the cubist collages contained secret messages from newspapers and magazines that were inserted into the paintings. La Botella del Anis del Mono has more interpretations than any other Gris paintings.
