HI Hostel Akranes Iceland

The Akranes Hostel is in a town called Akranes on the west coast of Iceland, around 20 km north of the capital Reykjavík. The rooms in the hostel are comfortable and nicely furnished, with or without en-suite facilities. The guests have access to two fully equipped kitchens and a spacious lounge.

The chocolatier Hafliði Ragnarsson is famous for his fantastic chocolate which is not just delicious but art in itself. And the designer Brynhildur has designed some wonderful packageing for chocolate mountains made in collaboration with Hafliði. Both the chocolate and the packageing have received acclaim abroad. Quite extraordinary and delightfully delicious.

A full lenght documentary which follows Icelandic teenagers doing their hobbies which all have to do with the outdoors and nature. This film was made in cooperation with European Youth in Action.
