Bláfjöll ski resort near Reykjavik is the biggest ski area in Iceland, Which is small compared to its rivals in main land Europe. Bláfjöll located only 25 minutes drive from Reykjavik city center and it's very popular destination for local during winter months.

What to do in REYKJAVIK in 1 day! First day of ICELAND Adventure!

A fun exploration of Reykjavik with a ton of fun facts about the capital of Iceland! You can explore almost the whole city in 1 day! From the old part of town with the little Icelandic shops, amazing pastries in Sandholt Bakery, to the modern part with the Harpa concert hall overlooking the ocean and the volcanic landscape - we saw a looooot! And all of it on foot! This city really isn't so big, so you can see a lot in 1 day. If you don't have a lot of time, it is also a great base for day trips around the golden circle.

Iceland Travel in July | Reykjavik and surrounding - PART 1

Iceland was on my bucket list for years! Reykjavik was the most popular and populated city there! There are only 360,000 people there TOTAL as of 2019!The days never ended in the summer so we only got a few hours of sleep each night. Daylight just felt like we should be out and about. After Reykjavik, we drove about 5 hours east to stay at hotel and see waterfall, stream and so much beauty!

Reykjavik - Iceland Travel Vlog

Today marked the start of another adventure. Me and my dad were up early to head Arlanda airport which is a four hour drive from our house. We flew with Iceland air and were fortunate enough to get upgraded seats for free (with lots of legroom). The flight lasted for three hours and 30 minutes and the views as we were coming in to land were breathtaking. Watch the full video to find out what happened during our first day on Iceland.

I decided to take a day tour and this is the weather that I got!

This is where the Eurasian and North American teutonic plates come together and separate. This is possibly the worst weather to experience this.

What I've learned is that this umbrella is useless today.

I'm in Vik. The southernmost point in Iceland, on the famous black beach in Vik. This is an incredible sight.

TRIP TO ICELAND IN WINTER - NORTHERN LIGHTS, VOLCANOES, AND GLACIERS - VLOG

Watch as we explore the highlights of Iceland during a four day winter trip to see the northern lights in March.

The trip starts in the Golden Circle, where we visited UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park, Strokkur geyser and Gullfoss waterfall.

Day two, we go off-roading to the top of Eyjafjallajökull, check out the black sand beach of Vik, Skógafoss waterfall, Seljlandsfoss waterfall, and trek to the top of Sólheimajökull glacier.

Day three, we visit downtown Reykjavik, the Blue lagoon, and take a boat ride to see the northern lights.

Day four, we visit Reykjavik to see the view from Hallgrimskirkja church. Enjoy!
