Anthony Quinn Bay - Rhodes, Greece
Anthony Quinn Bay is situated on the east coast of Rhodes, about four kilometres south of Faliraki. The waters owe their deep emerald colour to the lush green vegetation which surrounds the beach. It is one of the most beautiful beaches on Rhodes. It's mostly popular with young people - especially Italians - since the sharp rocks both in and out of the water are not ideal for families with young children or elderly people.The finest spot is the rock right in the centre of the beach, with room for just a few sun beds. The crystal clear water and gorgeous underwater scenery also makes Anthony Quinn bay one of the best areas in Rhodes for snorkeling.

Anthony Quinn Beach, Rhodes Greece - 4K
Varies Bay, more known as Anthony Quinn Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Rhodes.
The story goes the actor got so taken away with the gorgeous place during filming Guns of Navarone in the area, that he bought the land surrounding the bay. Even though the purchase later was annulled, the bay is still called Anthony Quinn Bay.
The beach is regarded one of the finest on Rhodes. Because of this, the beachside might get quite crowded in July and August, but the water rarely is. The water is crystal clear and emerald green and although the rocks might look ragged, the bottom is covered with small pebbles.
There is a restaurant on the top of the hill and the parking next to it is free of charge.
To go to Anthony Quinn Beach: Drive south of Rhodos town, and take off towards Ladiko. As you reach the Ladiko beach, continue to where the road ends. Here is the place named Varies Bay, more known as Anthony Quinn Beach.

Anthony Quinn Bay is one of the most beautiful beach in Rhodes and is situated on the east coast of Rhodes and about four kilometres south of Faliraki. Because of the turquoise blue water and its beautiful bay, it has attracted thousands of tourist every year.
During the months of July and August, the beach is often overcrowded. Go in the morning to get a good spot with umbrella and sunbeds. The view of the bay is stunning and breathtaking.
