Christmas Holiday in Belgium 2017,Brussels, Antwerp and Brugge

Shout out to my Couchsurfing Host in belgium for being so kind and generous his name is GUY AMELOOT. I highly recommend him if u want to visit belgium and on a budget use couchsurfing and find him there. Im so blessed to experience all this tour for free and also free accommodation by mr. ameloot. I chose Belgium to spend my xmas holiday because ever since i was so intrigued by their christmas market and atomium has always been in my bucket list so i just checked it off. And the GRAND PLACE was beyond my expectation, it was so magical better than the overrated effiel tower ,just my opinion u know,. ANYWAY, IT WAS A FABULOUS HOLIDAY INDEED!

We visited the First Edition of SuperNova and thousands of people came to Het Eilandje in Antwerp to experience what the future will bring!
What is SuperNova? The SuperNova festival is a one-of-a-kind event immersive experience, where visionary solutions, technologies and insights come together. SuperNova is about the future of tomorrow. New technologies and changes that we will all experience. But what happens if we look further into the future? How does technology change our lives? Are we going to travel time? Will cancer still exist? On the SuperNova Expedition, scientists, futurologists and experts look into their glass sphere and take a look at the distant future. Feed your curiosity and discover the new ideas and technologies for tomorrow!
Expedition:
On this SuperNova Expedition, you will discover and experience the life of tomorrow. It features interactive installations - divided in various themes- that offer what 'the life of tomorrow' will bring. From how we work and move to how we eat, shop and stay healthy.
This unique and interactive expedition spans a total of 16 locations, with more than 120 interactive installations and demos that will amaze you. And enjoy the surprising music and performances, the hands-on workshops and the various talks where you will learn more about how scientists and futurists envision our future. The Expedition is open from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Location : SuperNova will take place around the entire Eilandje, the port of Antwerp. The festival, which stretches from the Waagnatie over MAS and Felix Pakhuis to Retail Detail, is hosted at various locations - both inside and outside - and even includes some brand-new constructions.The most important event hall is the Waagnatie at Rijnkaai 150 2000 Antwerp.
