Anzac Round Highlights

Anzac Round was played with plenty of courage and determination! Souths had a huge day over the Tigers, whilst Cazalys hosted Hawks vs Bulldogs in what was a real battle. In the final game Saints vs Lions at Griffiths Park.

공원형태의 안작광장. 안작은 호주와 뉴질랜드군의 영어약자로 퀸즐랜드 주에서 해외에 파병되었던 사람들을 기념하기 위해 조성된 광장이다. 이 기념관은 세계 제 1차 대전 당시 희생된 호주와 뉴질랜드 연합군을 추모하기 위해 건립됐다. 이 동상은 호주연방이 탄생되기도 전인 1899년에서 1902년까지 남아프리카 전쟁에서 희생된 퀸즐랜드 출신들을 추모하기 위한 것이다. 퀸즐랜드 해양박물관과 이곳 안작광장을 보면 호주는 계속 평화롭던 국가라는 일반적인 인식이 조금 바뀌게 된다. 한국 전쟁 참전비도 있다.

WEEK 22 II CAIRNS WITH KIDS - AUSTRALIA - Kangaroos and Aboriginal Culture at Rainforestation!

G'day, mates! We made it to Australia and had an amazing time exploring Cairns. We checked out Rainforestation and fed kangaroos, held a koala, learned about Aboriginal culture, and rode on an Army duck. We also had a great time at the lagoon by the beach and the Nature Play park near the botanic gardens ????
