Einsame und idyllische Strände erwarten uns auf Koh Jum. Uns begegnen fast keine Touristen auf unserer Inseltour. Wir genießen die Ruhe und Gelassenheit und können uns richtig gut erholen. Koh Jum ist ein wirklicher Kontrast zum lebendigen Koh Lanta. Uns gefällt es aber sehr gut.
Nach der ganzen Ruhe treibt es uns wieder in touristische Regionen. Von Ao Nang nehmen wir ein Boot auf die Railay Halbinsel. Dort findet gerade eine Massenhochzeit für Kletterer statt. Ein lustiges Event, was aber leider auch sehr viele Touristen anzieht. Dementsprechend voll ist es auf der Halbinsel. Aber spannend ist es dennoch.
Neben den Hochzeiten hat Railay aber auch mehr zu bieten. Wir sonnen uns an langen weißen Sandstränden mit den großen Karstfelsen im Hintergrund und klettern auf einen Aussichtshügel mit Blick auf die ganze Halbinsel.

Ko Siboya is little island near Krabi,which deserve more attention.I was basically only tourist in whole island.Good place to meet locals and to see what normal life is like for Thai people living on that island.There is not many resorts or hotels,but one of those is Racha Sunset Resort,which is very pleasent and qiuet place to relax.The owner named UN is very happy to take you anywhere on island,especialy to his lobster farm.Recomended!!!

Osmý týden a ostrov Koh Jum. O tomhle ostrůvku nám říkali, že je to jeden z posledních rájů na Zemi.. A nekecali.
Taky nám říkali, ať se tam ubytujeme maximálně na dva na tři dny, že se pak začnem nudit. A kecali. Byli jsme tam celý týden a loučili jsme se s těžkým srdcem..
Koh Jum. Na jednu stranu trošku Mumuland, na tu druhou jeden z mála posledních thajských ostrovů, který ještě není úplně poznamenáný cestovním ruchem. Na celém ostrově žije všudyvšeho patnáct set lidí a snad úplně všichni jsou strašně milí, vstřícní a usměvaví.
Nemají tam banky, dokonce ani bankomat. Protože nepotřebují bankomaty. Mají tam nemocnici, ale není v ní ani jeden doktor. Protože nepotřebují doktory. Je tam pár hotelů a restaurací a skoro všechny ve svém názvu nesou slůvko Love, Peace nebo Freedom. A je znát, že tyto hodnoty jsou pro ně opravdu důležité. Tyty hodnoty k životu opravdu potřebují.
Na krásy tohoto ostrova se můžete podívat v našem novém videu. V závěru videa (07:50) jsme se zamysleli nad těmi hlasy, kteří tvrdí, že si děti z cestování nic neodnesou. Zajímá nás, jak to vidíte vy. Dejte nám vědět do komentářů! :)

Nakhon Si Thammarat (นครศรีธรรมราช) is both a province and a city in Southern Thailand. It’s well off the tourist trail and is a destination that not a lot of people visit, however it’s a great city where you can get a taste of real Thai culture. It has some amazing Thai food and attractions that you can visit. And there is loads to do in the surrounding areas too – beaches, islands, national parks and waterfalls – it’s a beautiful part of Thailand!
In this video we’ll start on the 3rd day of my family’s recent holiday in Nakhon Si Thammarat, we’ll eat at some great restaurants, visit some attractions, beaches and a seafood market in Khanom.

This is a meal my family and I had recently at a shabu-shabu or shabushi hotpot (AKA steamboat) buffet restaurant in Krabi Thailand. Unfortunately the restaurant in this video has stopped serving the hotpot buffet, but there is a great shabu restaurant, Shabu Kong Krabi, near where it was (Google Maps: ) and you will find other hotpot buffet restaurants in Krabi all over Thailand. For other hotpot buffet restaurants we've been to check out this playlist:
Thai hot pot restaurants are everywhere in Thailand and the food they serve is delicious! They usually serve a wide variety of seafood (prawns, crab, mussels and fishballs), meat (chicken and beef), vegetables, mushrooms, noodles and tofu, as well as much more. The food at some is also Halal if you’re looking for Muslim friendly food. You can choose what you want from buffet and then you cook it yourself in the hotpot/hotplate they provide. The range of food and the price certainly makes this a great eating option. It’s pretty hard to beat a Thai hot pot buffet!
The meal we had in the video was 475 baht ($15.20 US), including drinks and Thai hot pot meals are usually a similar price. I can definitely recommend visiting Thai hot pot restaurants if you’re in Thailand and you love a good hotpot buffet. Check out my channel for lots more Thailand food and travel videos. Thai cuisine and street food in Thailand has taken influences from many other styles of Asian cooking, including Chinese food and there are a variety of types of hot pot in Thailand. Hotpot buffets are in a dining class of their own and this one has an extensive selection of extremely fresh seafood, shellfish and meat. Surprisingly there were no long lines and crowds, but the restaurant is fairly new. After eating at this hotpot buffet we sure felt like we got our money’s worth!

Phang Nga town is about 1 hour north of Krabi and similarly about 1 hour north from Phuket. It's a great place for a interesting day out! It's not really on the tourist map, but you can get tours to there from Phang Nga, Phuket or Krabi. It is definitely worth spending a few hours to have a look when you travel Thailand and there's plenty of other things to see around Phang Nga including forests, caves with prehistoric paintings, islands, kayaking, James Bond Island, great food and restaurants, and some amazing temples. If you want to see one of the most amazing countries in the world be sure to visit Thailand!
