Road Trip to Lake Tekapo and Mount Cook | New Zealand
We did this road trip to Lake Tekapo and Mount Cook in New Zealand and it was amazing! So many great landscapes!
We started our trip to lake tekapo where we spent the night and watched the stars nearby the lake tekapo. Lake tekapo is part of UNESCO stargazing places so if you are there wake up in the middle of the night and look up!
Next stop in our road trip in New Zealand was the Lake pulaski and the mount cook. We only say the mount cook from far because we did not have more time and we had to get back to Christchurch, so we stayed south of the lake pukaki and took amazing pictures there.
If you are wondering what to do in New Zealand, don't worry there is plenty of things to do in New Zealand. Roadtrip in new zealand are very famous because you can see a lot of things as the county is massive.

Mt. Cook Sunset (to Moonrise) | Aoraki - Mt. Cook Village, New Zealand [TimeLapse]
Aoraki/Mount Cook, NZ — 24 Hours
A 24 Hour Series encompassing an entire day in some of my favourite places from around the world.
Location: Aoraki/Mount Cook, New Zealand
Highlights:
1. Kea Point Walk - walking up to the southern face of Mount Sefton is a must.
2. Tasman Glacier Walk - take the right-hand path when you reach the fork. I will not disappoint!
3. Lake Pukaki - For drone enthusiasts Lake Pukaki is a great place to fly. And, the shots you can get of Mount Cook from the Southern end of the lake are incredible.
Accommodation:
Aoraki Court Motel - shared cost with 4 adults made this motel incredibly affordable. The accommodation was a completely new build with brand new appliances and fit out. I highly recommend!

Mt Cook // New Zealand
Road to Mt Cook from Lake Hawea via Lake Pukaki. We hiked the Hooker Valley Track but unfortunately the Tasman Valley hike was closed on the day. The weather cleared up for our hike which made way to a clear night sky for some astro photography. The night was so perfect for a bit of star gazing at Mt Cook and it was the biggest reason for us to be there. Still need heaps of practice at Astro Photography but I was happy with the outcome considering the gear I had on the night. New Zealand is just amazing left right and centre.

NEW ZEALAND'S MOST BEAUTIFUL WALK (HOOKER VALLEY TRACK)
New Zealand Vlog 31
???? SUBSCRIBE! ???? & Scroll down for details on shoutouts????
The Hooker Valley Track is the most popular short walking track within the Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park in New Zealand. At only 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) length and gaining only about 100 m (330 ft) in height, the well formed track can be walked by tourists with a wide range of level of fitness.
The track is maintained by the Department of Conservation and its main attractions are spectacular views of Aoraki / Mount Cook and access to the proglacial Hooker Lake, typically with icebergs floating in it. Hooker Valley Track is often named as one of the best day walks in New Zealand.
The lookout point at the end of the Hooker Valley Track is the closest any walking track comes to Aoraki / Mount Cook, and reveals completely unobstructed views of the highest mountain in New Zealand, with Hooker Glacier in the valley below. There is also access to the shore of the glacial lake. The vegetation around the track is open alpine tussock, and as such the track offers clear views of the mountains surrounding the wide valley floor of the Hooker Valley.
