New Year's Fireworks in Appi Kougen Ski Resort in Japan.
安比高原除夜の花火は、2013年12月31日から2014年1月1日にかけて岩手県八幡平市の安比高原スキー場で開催した新年を祝う花火大会です。
東北を代表するスキー場である安比高原スキー場で行われる除夜の花火は、2013年の大晦日に除夜の鐘と同じ数である108発の打上花火があり、年越しに向けたカウントダウンと共に700発の綺麗な花火が打ち上がります。
開催当日は風が強く時々吹雪になる事もあり視界はあまりよくなかったのですが、とても美しい花火でした。

On the day of the event, the wind was strong and occasionally snowstorms were sometimes occurred, so the sight was not very good, but it was a very beautiful fireworks display.

Skiing at Shizukuishi Ski Resort, Iwate Prefecture in March
It's been three years since I had the chance to enjoy the slopes at Shizukuishi and it was good to be back! Unfortunately they close parts of the mountain in March but what was open was just perfect for a bluebird day of fast groomed-piste skiing!
Shizukuishi Ski Resort ( Shizukuishi Town )
Shizukuishi Ski Resort offers an exciting skiing experience for everyone. The 4,500-m downhill trail with a maximum slope of 36 degrees was the site of the 1993 World Alpine Ski Championships and is definitely for advanced skiers. There are, of course, other trails for skiers of all levels, such as the Grand Slalom Course for advanced skiers and the Crystal Course for beginners. There are 7 lifts, including a ropeway and a gondola. On weekends you can also enjoy night-time skiing. Skiing and snowboarding lessons approved by the Ski Association of Japan are available as well.

This video is a compilation of different ski and snowboard clips in Hakkaisan Ski Resort, Joestsu Kokusai Ski Resort and Kagura Mt of Tashiro lake in Echigo Yuzawa of Niigata Pefecture during the winter 2013. Studying MA in International University of Japan (IUJ) and having fun with the students from more than 40 countries are the most enjoyable and informative period of my life and helped to extend friendship all over the world.
