Hirosaki Sakura Festival (弘前桜まつり）2017.
Sakura season has just over in Aomori prefecture. This video highlights the best shots of Hirosaki castle park's sakura!
Next year 2018, Hirosaki park's 100th Sakura festival. So cannot miss it! Plan your trip to Hirosaki, Japan next year spring!
For viewing Sakura, this park is highly recommended :)
There are about 2,600 Sakura trees, and they are extremely gorgeous! Probably, it's one of the best Sakura festivals in Japan, personally I felt it's my best Sakura festival ever!
You can walk through a cherry blossoms tunnel and enjoy the view from a boat in the castle's west moat.
It takes about 2hrs (actually it took me more than that!) to walk around the castle park.
and.. it's more than cherry trees, they have entertaining events too! which is very amusing!
Location: Hirosaki Castle Park
Duration: April 22 - May 7 (May slightly change by year)
JR Hirosaki locates 40 mins by train from Aomori station. To get to Hirosaki Castle park, take a loop bus (100 yen) from bus terminal in front of Hirosaki station or walk about 30 mins from the station.
As this place locates a little country side, it would be ideal to learn basic Japanese for you to enjoy Japan fully :)

Flowers of apples start blooming when cherry blossoms are about to fall. Hirosaki City Apple Park offers a spectacular scenery of apple blossom orchard with Mt. Iwaki in the background. Various attractions such as Tsugaru-shamisen live and hands-on experiences associated with apples including pressing apple flowers and apple peeling family competition are available.

Access：Get on the Karekitai, Soma Line Get off at Tokiwazaka Iriguchi bus stop

‘푸른 숲’이라는 뜻의 아오모리는 자연의 축복을 받은 듯하다. 청명한 공기가 아오모리의 아침을 더욱 상쾌하게 한다. 거리 우체통에 빨간 사과마저 탐스럽기까지 하다. 자연의 푸르름을 느끼며 도로를 달리다 보니 바로 길 옆에 제법 큰 사과 농장이 있다. 일본 제일의 사과생산지로 유명한 아오모리. 이곳은 90여 년간 노부부가 함께 운영하고 있는 오랜 사과 농장이다. 사람들이 한창 작업 중인데. 그런데 가지에 열린 많은 사과들을 모두 따서 버린다. “열매를 솎아내고 있습니다.” “솎아낸다고요?” “솎아내는 거요.” 알고 보니 큰 사과가 열리도록 양분을 하나에 집중시키는 거란다. 잠시 휴식시간. 간식으로 보충을 하는데 간식도 사과다. 그냥 사과가 아닌 설탕에 졸인 사과. 아주머니께서 직접 만드셨다는데 생각보다 더 달콤하고 아삭아삭했다. “일본에 사과가 들어와서 정착한 것이 아오모리현이었습니다. 홋카이도 등 여러 곳에 갔지만 최종적으로 가장 적합한 곳이 아오모리였던 것이고 그래서 정착되었습니다.” “기후가 잘 맞아서 그런가요?” “기후가 가장 잘 맞는 거 같아요.”

Taking the Shinkansen from Tokyo, we went to Aomori Prefecture. In this episode, we are going to explore Hirosaki. Located South West of the Aomori Prefecture, Hirosaki is considered to be the one of the best Cherry Blossom Spots in North of Japan. Sakura usually blooms in late April in this part of the country. Developed as a castle town, Hirosaki, is also considered as the largest producer of apples in all of Japan. We tried Fuji Apple in Japan and had the best sushi place in Aomori!

We decided to make our way to a city a couple hours away, Hirosaki! During our journey was passed through the great Japanese mountains and saw some spectacular sights!

這次到弘前的蘋果公園體驗採蘋果，一個人限制三顆，考驗大家對選水果的眼光，現採的蘋果記得一定要現場品嚐，因為蔬果從採收開始新鮮度會逐漸減少，所以現採的口感超棒 ????
採完蘋果後到園內逛逛，園中有很多特別的品種等著大家去認識呢～來弘前別忘了把蘋果公園排入行程中唷～????
