The Noida Metro is an under-construction metro system connecting the twin cities of Noida and Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh, India. The metro network consists of one colour-coded line, with a total length of 29.7 kilometres serving 21 stations. The system has a mix of at-grade and elevated stations using standard-gauge tracks. Services will operate daily with a headway varying between 5–10 minutes. The trains will be composed of four cars. The power input is supplied by 25kV AC . Trials started in January 2018, while the line is expected to be open for commercial service in October 2018.The Noida Metro Rail Corporation will build and operate the system. CRRC Nanjing Puzhen, a Chinese state-owned rolling stock manufacturer, is supplying the trains to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for the corridor.
