Aqualandia Jesolo is a stunning water theme park located just outside of Venice, Italy. The park got a huge makeover a couple of years ago and now has a beautiful pirates theme which can be seen all across the park. Mystic fog effects, ship wrecks and water cannons as well as a dense vegetation make for a really unique and great atmosphere.
Aqualandia ist world-famous for its signature attraction Captain Spacemaker, Europe's tallest water slide. But also the other rides - such as the Scary Falls, Tortuga Sky or the Barracudas - are definitely worth trying. Other unique features are the bungee jumping tower as well as the various shows performed at the park.
Without any doubt, Aqualandia is a top-notch destination and one of the best waterparks we have visited so far.

Das Aqualandia Jesolo ist ein genialer Wasserpark direkt bei Venedig in Italien. Der Park wurde vor einigen Jahren gründlich generalüberholt und bietet seitdem ein extrem geniales Piraten-Theming, welches sich durch den gesamten Park zieht. Mystische Nebeleffekte, Schiffswracks und Wasserkanonen sowie eine dichte Bepflanzung sorgen für ein geniales Ambiente.
Das Aqualandia ist vor allem für die Hauptattraktion Captain Spacemaker bekannt - Europas höchste Wasserrutsche. Aber auch die anderen Rutschen im Park - darunter Scary Falls, Tortuga Sky und Barracudas - machen enorm viel Spaß. Weitere Besonderheiten sind der Bungee-Tower sowie die Shows, welche regelmäßig im Park aufgeführt werden. Alles in allem ist das Aqualandia eine der ersten Adressen in Italien und definitiv einer der besten Wasserparks, die wir bisher besucht haben!

This is the Captain Spacemaker waterslide at Aqualandia Jesolo near Venice, Italy. Standing 42 m (138 ft) tall, Captain Spacemaker is the highest and one of the fastest water slides in Europe. Riders embark upon this thrilling ride in rubber boats which have to be filled with 3 or 4 people at a time. A conveyor belt pushes the daring guests into the extremely steep slide, making them plunge down the giant drop. The slide is extremely fast! The last part of the slide runs through a ship wreck with fog effects which looks extremely cool!

Der Captain Spacemaker im Aqualandia Jesolo bei Venedig, Italien. Mit einer Höhe von unglaublichen 42 Metern ist Captain Spacemaker die höchste Rutsche Europas und gleichzeitig eine der höchsten und schnellsten Rutschen weltweit. Gerutscht wird hier in großen Gummibooten, welche mit entweder drei oder vier Personen besetzt werden müssen. Am Einstieg sorgt ein Förderband für einen reibungslosen Start in die extrem steile Rutsche, woraufhin man den riesigen Drop abwärts stürzt. Die Rutsche ist wirklich unglaublich schnell. Der letzte Abschnitt verläuft durch ein Schiffswrack mit Nebeleffekten, was extrem cool aussieht.

???? This is the Jungle Jump water slide at Aqualandia Jesolo near Venice, Italy. Jungle Jump was opened in the 2016 season and is one of the most extreme slides we've ever encountered. The slide consists of two parallel tubes which are extremely steep. After plunging down, riders pass a sort of foil-covered ramp which launches them several meters up in the air, right before throwing them into the deep landing pool. It's just incredible how far you can jump on this slide!
During the ride, you have to wear a protective vest with a neck support to weaken the impact on your body. Prior to sliding, your age is checked via ID (it's 18+ only) and you even have to sign a waiver.
???? Dies ist die Wasserrutsche Jungle Jump im Aqualandia Jesolo bei Venedig, Italien. Jungle Jump wurde im Jahr 2016 eröffnet und ist eine der extremsten Rutschen, die wir bisher ausprobiert haben. Die Rutsche besteht aus zwei parallelen, extrem steilen Röhren. Nachdem man im fast freien Fall abwärts gerast ist, schießt man eine mit Folie beschichtete Betonrampe aufwärts, fliegt mehrere Meter durch die Luft und klatscht schließlich aus großer Höhe ins tiefe Landebecken. Es ist wirklich absolut krank, wie weit man bei dieser Rutsche fliegen kann.
Während des Rutschvorgangs muss eine Schutzweste mit Nackenstütze getragen werden. Bevor man ins Abenteuer starten kann, wird außerdem das Alter mittels Personalausweis kontrolliert (die Rutsche ist ab 18 Jahren) und man muss sogar einen Haftungsausschluss unterschreiben.
