Arabba in Alps. Marmolada is a mountain in northeastern Italy and the highest mountain of the Dolomites. It lies between the borders of Trentino and Veneto.

Last part of a fantastic day trip from Arabba to Marmolada and back. Having three kids - beginners - slows things down, and you need to protect them when slopes get busy. But it was an amazing adventure especially for them, and that makes it extra worth it. The mountains are incredibly gorgeous, weather was perfect, it is also quite an achievement for the little rookies so ... highly recommended, would do it again!
We started in the morning in Arabba, made it across the hill to Malga Ciapela, then up to the top of Marmolada and back down. Now we're on the way back to Arabba. Kids are pretty tired, slopes are crowded, so we're taking it double extra easy.
The video also shows a crash at about 5:30 when a lady lost control and hit me from behind causing this collision. Pretty flat part, not sure what was she thinking, but it happens. Everybody was ok.
The film does not make it all the way back to Arabba ... even the spare battery finally gave up. Sorry!
