Cliff Diving Into a Glacial River - River Rafting Tour | Hvita River, Iceland.

We had Magnus Gardarsson a diving champion joining us on the River Rafting tour in Hvítá and he asked to visit a bigger cliff than usual. This was the result!

Don't try this at home kids, but it sure is impressive!

Glacier Hiking and Ice Climbing - Blue Ice Tour | Solheimajokull Glacier, Iceland.

Here is your chance to visit a glacier and not just any glacier, this trip will take you to the frozen glacial tongue that is Sólheimajökull. It is a magnificent phenomenon, a rugged, raw and ever changing hub of ancient frozen water. We will explore the crevasse riddled outlet glacier with its amazing ice formations, sinkholes and jagged ridges accompanied by an experienced glacier guide. Along the way we will find an ice wall on the glacier and try our hand at ice climbing. We will provide you with all the tools you need: ice axes, crampons and safety lines, making sure you are very safe as you brave the heights. As we drive back to Reykjavik we will stop at the beautiful Skógafoss waterfall.

Gullfoss Canyon River Rafting Tour | Hvita River, Iceland.

A River Rafting tour on Hvítá River is truly the Local sport. If you ask any Icelanders they are unlikely to have been on a glacier but most have done the River Rafting Tour at some point.
The water originates at Langjökull Glacier which is the second largest glacier in Iceland and is the water that runs through the famous Gullfoss waterfall. This is an exciting tour from start to finish and the Drumbó base has a bar and a sauna to enjoy after the tour.
