On a quest for the Northern Lights, we enjoyed our visit to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. Kick back at the Woodyard Brewhouse and see the area like never before! Ride a dog sled, drive the ice road to Dettah and visit the Snowking's ice castle. Oh yeah, and see those magnificent Auroras too. 17 minutes of fun! On you huskies!

With more than one million square kilometres of land area and a population of less than 50,000, the Northwest Territories is about as wild as it gets. It's certainly not an easy area to visit (many places are fly-in, many roads are gravel, and distances are vast) but for those who make the effort, there are incredible things to experience.
With boreal forest, arctic tundra, some of Canada's greatest waterfalls, a vibrant indigenous culture, and boundless wilderness, this is an adventurers paradise!

Our very last stop on our social media powered exploration of Canada and the United States took us to the remote northern territory of Nunavut in Canada. The very new territory is little known by most North Americans, so we set out to explore and share our findings for your behalf. Watch as we walk around the city of Iqaluit (Nunavut's capital city) and discover all sorts of interesting and sometimes quirky things.
SEE the World | Canada: Yellowknife
This is our first time visiting Canada, and we've come to the town of Yellowknife with one goal, to see the infamous Aurora. We stayed at the Buffalo Nights B&B located in the Old Town, and was able to see the Northern Light the first night. The following days, we've visited various spot in the old town including, Wildcat Cafe, Bullock's Bistro, Dancing Moose Cafe, Bush Pilots Monument, Gallery of the Midnight Sun, just to name a few. We've also visited the Downtown area including places like the Prince of Wales Museum & Somba K'e Park.

Amazing Northern Lights | Yellowknife, Canada
We saw the Northern Lights aka Aurora Borealis in Yellowknife, Canada and it was one of the most incredible natural forces of nature I've ever seen. We were invited to travel to Yellowknife, Northern Canada by Samsung Canada to try out the new Galaxy Note8 with no obligations to create a video, but how could we not? Last year I also saw the solar winds in Yellowknife NWT and although I got the best northern lights there, I prefer Yukon for it's beautiful landscape. Manitoba also offers some Aurora borealis in the north of the province but it's very expensive to get there. This is why Whitehorse is the cheapest and my top pick for Aurora.

The Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis are a strange natural phenomenon that can only be witnessed in the most northern regions of the globe. We had the once in a lifetime opportunity to go to Yellowknife Canada and watch the best aurora of the entire year so far. It was truly a magical moments that no words will ever be able to describe. This is a moment I will cherish for the rest of my life.
