Ardmore Open Farm and Mini Zoo is located just minutes from the seaside village of Ardmore in Co.Waterford. Set in c.16 acres and overlooking Whiting Bay, it opened in 2013 and quickly became one of the main family attractions in South East.
It is not just about animals, but has a wide range of activities for all ages. ENDLESS HOURS of fun can be spent on the Playgroundsm indoor play centre, go kart track, zip line, soccer pitch, maze and much more.
There is full restaurant facility, wide variety of baked goods, hot meals and lovely sitting area for having your tea and coffee.

#SP We recently went to check out Ardmore Open Farm & Mini Zoo located in Co. Waterford. It is just 10 minutes from Youghal and honestly is one of the nicest open farms I have been to. The perfect outing for kids. You get the opportunity to get up close and personal with a wide range of exotic and farm animals. There are petting times available throughout the day, along with barrel rides around the farm. There is something for all ages - zip wires, playgrounds, go carts, tunnel slides, indoor play area... I could not believe the amount at the Farm. I went and filmed this video and brought my two nieces back two weeks later to experience it themselves. You can stroll around the facility at your ease and savour a huge variety of animals and birds from all over the world. Definitely one to try with your kids. I can say I was the best Auntie after bring them here for the day. Such a fun trip.

Our trip adventure in Ardmore Open Farm and Mini Zoo in Ireland
As the weather was hit we decided to go somewhere and not waste this beautiful day, we went to the open farm and mini zoo, this was such a amazing adventure, it had alot if all kind of animals loads of games outside and inside for the kids and family.
It's amazing for family trips.
We definitely recommend this place.
Ardmore Farm
Ardmore, once a thriving railroad community known for its cane syrup and pine resin, was at its peak in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. The original farm comprised some 250 acres but over the last few years the current owner has added over 100 acres by purchasing contiguous parcels. The property and its picturesque equestrian setting are second to none in southeast Georgia.
After a fire destroyed the main house in 2005, the owners hired an architect who meticulously designed a new, larger home with the same charm and character of the original home. Great efforts were made to keep the home’s original design and southern charm but updated its utility to accommodate 21st century living.
Ardmore Farm offers a myriad of improvements including a 4322 heated sq. ft. farm house built in 2006 original horse barn and stable, an additional 12 stall barn/stable built in 1998, a riding arena, 1800 heated sq. ft. guest log home and a 1358 heated sq. ft. additional guest house. Please view an extensive list of the many other improvements and their details shown as additional improvements and features.
The unique layout of this property includes paved road frontage along several roads. Ardmore Farm is tucked neatly away but still within view of GA. Hwy 21. The main home and grounds and a majority of the improvements lie at the center of this property adjacent to a 9 acre pecan orchard. Some fifteen fields varying in sizes comprise approximately 138 acres of cultivated land, hay field and pasture. The balance of the acreage is in various stages of merchantable and pre- merchantable pine timberland.
