We are spending the last couple of days in La Fortuna/El Castillo at the Arenal EcoZoo. Being that it is low season, we had the serpentarium to ourselves so it was the perfect opportunity for us to really take advantage of their free schedule and get deep into the facility and the animals it has on display. It is a long video but full of information about Costa Rican reptiles.

What an amazing opportunity to learn about the native snakes of Costa Rica in one place, from the people who have dedicated their lives to these animals.

You're going to love it!

Butterfly Conservatory in El Castillo, Costa Rica

We took a little side trip to the Butterfly Conservatory which is located just outside of the town of La Fortuna in Costa Rica. It was absolutely magical to be surrounded by so many incredibly beautiful butterflies!
