The Iruvanji River cascades its way down the rocks to form the Arippara waterfalls. The waterfall is in Anakkampoyil near Thiruvambadi town in Kozhikode district.

It is the Iruvanji River that cascades down the rocky hills to form the Arippara Waterfalls. The waterfall in Kozhikode is a wonderful spot to unwind and observe nature at its most intimate yet devastating best. It is an eight level waterfall with SulluKallu, Vattakkuzhi, Nirannapara, Olichuchaattom, Shwasakkuzhi and Neelakkayathadaakam as its companions. There are tons of places around to simply relax and let the movement of the water ease away the stress in your limbs.
The pebbly bottom and the cool waters play host to mesmerizing scenery.

Urumi dam waterfalls located Poovaranthode (Malayalam: പൂവാറൻതോട്) is a small village in Kozhikode District, Kerala, India. As a hilltop village it is one of the coolest places in the Malabar region. Poovaranthode has a generally humid tropical climate with a very hot season extending from March to May. The average annual rainfall is more than 3500 mm, the highest in Kozhikode district. Hindus, Christians and Muslims co-exist in harmony. It is an agricultural area and a large portion of its population are farmers. Coconut and nutmeg are the major products.

A Weekend trip with the boys to Aripara Waterfalls, just 50 kms outside Calicut City, Kerala.
Aripara waterfalls is just one among many places to visit in Calicut city. Its known for its short distance from the city and an awesome destination for a quick swim. So i thought i would make a short video compiling some of the beautiful moments we had there. Calicut is a beautiful city with cuisines from all around the world and some very beautiful people. The city is got to offer more than i can put in words here.

An exciting trip to the Aripara Waterfall & Thusharagiri Waterfalls located in the Kozhikode district of Kerala. These two tourist attractions are amazingly beautiful but I was really amazed by the beauty of the nature that I witnessed on my way. The roads are well maintained and are full of greenery both the sides. The sceneries and landscapes that you will come across will force you to take photographs throughout the way.
They say that Kerala is God's own country. Well, I totally agree with this statement. You should definitely visit Kerala and witness the beauty of nature at its best.
