Kayin National races has been holding their nationwide New Year festival
Myanmar is a home to diverse national races and each national race has its own traditional culture and custom. Kayin National races has been holding their nationwide New Year festival since 1939. The festival aims to highlight the unity and friendships among Kayin nationals and preserve their tradition and customs. Kayin Communities from Yangon also held their New Year day Celebration at Arlein Ngar Sint Pagoda in Insein township, Wednesday. The talk show and prize giving ceremony for the outstanding students and many fun-fairs were also held in conjunction with the event. Kayin traditional dances and songs were also entertained.
