SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go to the beautiful (and very famous) Greek island of Mykonos (Myconos) and let's visit its 19th century lighthouse. This Mykonian lighthouse (called Armenistis) is worth visiting cause the scenery around it . From there you may see all the boats arriving and departing Mykonos and it is located at the northeast corner of the island and 7 km away from Mykonos Town.
This lighthouse (Armenistis) was built in 1891. The altitude of tower is 19 metres and the height of focal plane is 184 metres.
Rhodes, the largest of Greece’s Dodecanese islands, is known for its beach resorts, ancient ruins and remnants of its occupation by the Knights of St. John during the Crusades. The city of Rhodes has an Old Town featuring the medieval Street of the Knights and the castlelike Palace of the Grand Masters. Captured by the Ottomans and then held by the Italians, the palace is now a history museum.
Greece is a country in southeastern Europe with thousands of islands throughout the Aegean and Ionian seas. Influential in ancient times, it's often called the cradle of Western civilization. Athens, its capital, retains landmarks including the 5th-century B.C. Acropolis citadel with the Parthenon temple. ZAKINTHOS KERI MIZITRES FAROS
Myzithres, the small and the big, are two conical tall white rocks, just below the light of Keri. They have got their name from the local cheese produced on the island, of course its color is white.
Immediately after the steep cliff, these rocks rise next to each other and give us a breathtaking scenery. The crystal clear turquoise waters combined with the caves of Keri and the rugged hillsides make up an imposing scenery that no one will ever forget.
At this point the cape (the southernmost tip of the island) changes shape. There are also strong currents, while in the close proximity of Myzithres there is the deepest point of the Mediterranean, the Wells of the Oinouss, 4500 meters deep.
You can admire the island of Myzithres by boats that start daily from the nearby beaches or admire them from above, from the Keri Lighthouse. The landscape is literally breathtaking and awe-inspiring.
