ADAM - Brussels Design Museum Presentation
ADAM - Brussels Design Museum is a space dedicated to design from the 20th and 21st centuries.
Established after the Atomium’s acquisition of the Plasticarium collection in December 2014, the ADAM offers an innovative and surprising insight on plastic design from the fifties to the present (permanent exhibition / Plasticarium) and on other forms of design through other periods, expressions, materials and themes (temporary exhibitions).
The design museum of Brussels is also an auditorium with about 400 seats and an educational and cultural service with activities designed for children, teens and school groups. Lectures and screenings, in connection with the themes that are explored, enrich the museum’s program of activities.
Through exhibitions, guided tours, workshops and lectures, the ADAM - Brussels Design Museum aims to ensure that design is intelligible to one and all.

The majority of journalists around the world have chosen to develop their subject on controversial and sensational themes: violence, war, crime. But all these facts represent only 1% of our world and its inhabitants, forgetting the remaining 99% of which we never speak.
I chose to visit every country on the planet and film them to present them in High Definition format but in a raw way, without music, without comment. Simply, reality in all its truth. Thus, you will be able to make your own idea of the world in which you live.
Currently, I have already visited nearly 170 countries and my world tour continues thanks to you who follow me.

Van Buuren Museum, Brussels
Brussels's gift to the world is Art Nouveau movement, defined by curling lines and shapes of plants and flowers.
But one remarkable Art Deco style house in Brussels stands out- it is Van Buuren Museum. Now a museum, this house was bought in 1928 by David van Buuren, a banker born in Holland. He married the Belgian Alice Piette (1890-1973) and began a period of 30 happy years with the cultural vocation of their house.
The outdoor architecture of the house is typical of the Amsterdam School. The indoor decoration characterizes an Art Deco style.
VISITING DINOSAURS AT THE MUSEUM OF NATURAL SCIENCES, BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
The Museum of Natural Sciences, better known as Brussels’ Dinosaur Museum, holds the secrets to one of the world’s most important dino-discoveries – the Iguanodons of Bernissart.
The museum is a part of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences. Its most important pieces are 30 fossilised Iguanodon skeletons, which were discovered in 1878 in Bernissart, Belgium. The dinosaur hall of the museum is the world's largest museum hall completely dedicated to dinosaurs.

Vlog #7 Bois De La Cambre- Brussels
Got lost in Bois De La Cambre! It’s a beautiful place though!
Inside the Museum of the Far East, Brussels
A tour inside one of the buildings of the Museums of the Far East, near the Atomium, Brussels.
The Museums of the Far East are in three Asian buildings: the Japanese Tower, the Chinese Pavilion and the Museum of Japanese Art.
These buildings are architectural achievements of King Leopold II. The Japanese Tower contains Japanese export art: Imari (18th century), porcelain and cloisonné (19th and early 20th century).
The interior of the Chinese Pavilion was designed as a luxurious restaurant, but was never used like that. The museum contains mostly Chinese export ceramics which was sent to kings and nobles in Europe during the 17th and 18th century.
The renovated carriage house containing the Museum of Japanese Art preserves a rich collection of traditional Japanese art, mostly from the Edo period (1600-1868): scroll paintings, folding screens, kimonos, armor, lacquered boxes, Inro, netsuke (strap buttons).

Hi, I am Eileen from Belgium, nice to meet you. I started this channel two years ago but was not updating on a regular basis. After making some videos for friends and family, I realized this is something I love to do. I got inspired by some of my favorite YouTube channels such as Travellight, Kara & Nate, The Way Away and the Bucketlist Family. I accepted the challenge to visit all Belgian municipalities and because I love to travel, I do it as often as possible. I just got back from one month in Asia and the next trip is already booked!

Art & Diplomacy at the Egmont Palace
For the 8th edition of the summer exhibition, the Egmont Palace played a home game. As a still rather unknown heritage pearl and a temple of diplomacy, the Egmont Palace opened its doors to the Art & Diplomacy exhibition. Based on six perspectives, works of art by 25 artists from the art collection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a few didactic objects, various aspects of Belgian diplomacy and embassies were highlighted.
Visit Belgium - 4/589 – Brussels (part 2) - The Royal Palace, Belvue Museum & Coudenberg
ABC stands for 'A Belgian Challenge', I would like to visit all 589 Belgian Municipalities. This is the second video of the municipality of Brussels.
Every year we have the possibility to visit the Royal Palace. After the 21st of July (Belgian Independence Day) our king goes on holiday and the palace is open for visits for some weeks.
I also went to the Belvue museum, where you can see that Belgium is more than beer and chocolate. Democracy, migration, monarchy and religion are just some of the subjects this museum shows us.
The Coudenberg museum, which is the formal palace of Brussels, is now completely underground.
