(Catalan original version with Spanish and English subtitles)
Realización y Edición: Olivia Rueda y Antonio Ribelles / Guión: Antonio Ribelles / Narrador: Santi Pons / Montaje musical: Xavier Buixader y Manel Valls / Postproducción audio: Joan Pineda, Cisco Prades, Joan Puig y Joan Sirvent / Operación Rescate: Alejandro Mediavilla y Tony Macousqui / Con la intervención de Tomás Fanjul, Foll, José Gracia, Merce Herrero, Miguel Ángel López, Josep María Magrià, Juan Martínez, Joan Navarro, Francisco Nieto, Juan Nieto, Josep Lluís Pampols, Ricardo Ribelles, Joan Carles Romeu, Saina y Jaume Vila

Tartessos
Tartessos or Tartessus was a semi-mythical harbor city and the surrounding culture on the south coast of the Iberian Peninsula, at the mouth of the Guadalquivir River. It appears in sources from Greece and the Near East starting during the first millennium BC, for example Herodotus, who describes it as beyond the Pillars of Heracles. Roman authors tend to echo the earlier Greek sources but from around the end of the millennium there are indications that the name Tartessos had fallen out of use and the city may have been lost to flooding, though several authors attempt to identify it with cities of other names in the area. Archaeological discoveries in the region have built up a picture of a more widespread culture, identified as Tartessian, that includes some 97 inscriptions in a Tartessian language.
The Tartessians were rich in metal. In the 4th century BC the historian Ephorus describes a very prosperous market called Tartessos, with much tin carried by river, as well as gold and copper from Celtic lands. Trade in tin was very lucrative in the Bronze Age, since it is an essential component of true bronze and is comparatively rare. Herodotus refers to a king of Tartessos, Arganthonios, presumably named for his wealth in silver.

Don Quixote
Don Quixote (/ˌdɒn kiːˈhoʊtiː/; Spanish: [ˈdoŋ kiˈxote] ( )), fully titled The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha (Spanish: El ingenioso hidalgo don Quijote de la Mancha), is a Spanish novel by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. It follows the adventures of Alonso Quixano, an hidalgo who reads so many chivalric novels that he decides to set out to revive chivalry, under the name Don Quixote. He recruits a simple farmer, Sancho Panza, as his squire, who often employs a unique, earthly wit in dealing with Don Quixote's rhetorical orations on antiquated knighthood. Don Quixote is met by the world as it is, initiating such themes as intertextuality, realism, metatheatre, and literary representation.
Published in two volumes, in 1605 and 1615, Don Quixote is considered the most influential work of literature from the Spanish Golden Age and the entire Spanish literary canon. As a founding work of modern Western literature, and one of the earliest canonical novels, it regularly appears high on lists of the greatest works of fiction ever published. It has had major influence on the literary community, as evidenced by direct references in Alexandre Dumas' The Three Musketeers (1844) and Mark Twain's Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1884). In a 2002 list, Don Quixote was cited as the best literary work ever written.

Lady of Elche
This is a proof of concept of our new virtual exhibitor system, developed for museum and other cultural heritage items.
The Lady of Elche (Dama de Elche) was 3D reconstructed only from studio photographs, using Image-Based Modelling methods, enhanced with characterization of surface reflectance properties (BRDF/BSDF capture), which provides improved micro-surface detail and the proper response of the light to the changing illumination and observation angles.
The visualization is now working in real-time in consumer grade graphics card, using a multi-layer texture with custom pixel shaders.
This is the previous stage in development before the implementing a dedicated web service to remotely display and study any piece of artwork. The whole development is based on a variety of Open Source projects (OpenGL, Blender, Meshlab, Bundler).

Museo del Prado
The Museo del Prado is the main Spanish national art museum, located in central Madrid. It features one of the world's finest collections of European art, dating from the 12th century to the early 19th century, based on the former Spanish Royal Collection, and unquestionably the best single collection of Spanish art. Founded as a museum of paintings and sculpture in 1819, it also contains important collections of other types of works. El Prado is one of the most visited sites in the world, and is considered one the greatest museums of art in the world. The numerous works by Francisco de Goya, the single most extensively represented artist, as well as by Diego Velázquez, El Greco, Titian, Peter Paul Rubens and Hieronymus Bosch are some of the highlights of the collection.
The collection currently comprises around 7,600 paintings, 1,000 sculptures, 4,800 prints and 8,200 drawings, in addition to a large number of other works of art and historic documents. By 2012 the Museum will be displaying about 1,300 works in the main buildings, while around 3,100 works are on temporary loan to various museums and official institutions. The remainder are in storage. The museum received 2.8 million visitors in 2012.

Why I must come out | Geena Rocero
When fashion model Geena Rocero first saw a professionally shot photo of herself clad in a bikini, she was beside herself. I thought...you have arrived! she says proudly. This might not be the typical experience, but, as Rocero reveals, that's because she was born with the gender assignment boy. In a moving and personal talk, Rocero finds that transgender activism is giving her a whole new sense of pride and purpose.

Seven Years' War
The Seven Years' War was a war that took place between 1754 and 1763 with the main conflict being in the seven-year period 1756–1763. It involved most of the great powers of the time and affected Europe, North America, Central America, the West African coast, India, and the Philippines. In the historiography of some countries, the war is alternatively named after combatants in the respective theatres: the French and Indian War as it is known in the United States or the War of the Conquest as it is known in French-speaking Canada, while it is called the Seven Years' War in English-speaking Canada (North America, 1754–63); Pomeranian War (with Sweden and Prussia, 1757–62); Third Carnatic War (on the Indian subcontinent, 1757–63); and Third Silesian War (with Prussia and Austria, 1756–63).
The war was driven by the competing interests among the great powers of Europe. Great Britain competed with both France and Spain over trade and colonies. Meanwhile rising power Prussia was struggling with Austria for dominance within and outside the Holy Roman Empire in central Europe. In the wake of the War of the Austrian Succession, the major powers switched partners; Prussia established an alliance with Britain while traditional enemies France and Austria formed an alliance of their own. The Anglo-Prussian alliance was joined by smaller German states (especially Hanover) and later Portugal. The Austro-French alliance included Sweden, Saxony and later Spain. The Russian Empire was originally aligned with Austria, but switched sides upon the succession of Tsar Peter III in 1762 and, like Sweden, concluded a separate peace with Prussia.
