Phuket's popular 3D Trickeye Museum as well as the Phuket Bird Park

You can walk on a rope, be chased by a dinosaur, meet celebrities, be on a magazine cover, and so on. The museum offers 5 zones of different themes and there is no limit to your creativity when it comes to posing with the pictures.
Phuket Bird Park sits on an area of 12 acres. The park offers a chance to learn about various species of tropical birds, all you need to know about them , such as their diet and their habitats. The park also trains birds for shows. You will be surprised at how smart and lovely they are.

Street art exhibition by 2 Thai Street artists D.E.A & T.G. at Galeria346 café Phuket town
This is the opening of a street art exhibition performed by two Thai Street artists D.E.A and T.G., at the Galeria346 café in Phuket town.
Inside this gallery, which is situated in an old Sino Portuguese building, there are works of two modern street artists put up on display, creating a very hip and relaxing atmosphere for teenagers, young adults or visitors to stop by and look at unique, vibrant, abstract and undeniably cool street art work.
The two Thai street artists are D.E.A or Kitja Yamunsabedin and T.G. or Torlab Intararuensorn; both came from the same graffiti crew which goes by the name of DB-K which come from Down-Bout-Krew. D.E.A drew his first graffiti in 1994, and he will mostly draw his graffiti by using characters and a touch of realism in his work. He also participated in many graffiti competitions such as Eminem T-Shirt Contest 2001 and Silom Skate-Park Graffiti Contest 2004 in which, he won the 1st place awards in both contests.
TG, the other street artist, also started drawing graffiti in 1994 and claimed that his style is wildly futuristic and 3D. He performed and proved his talent by successfully receiving 1st and 2nd place awards in many contests such as The Image of Graffiti competitions at MBK hall in Bangkok in 2002 and Silom Skate Park Graffiti contest in 2004.
D.E.A and T.G. both talked to Andaman News about their experiments on graffiti and the fun they have:
My name is dea and my nickname for my art work is D.E.A. This gallery is interested in graffiti art and it is now the one only gallery in Phuket that displays this kind of street art work. Most of my work is in abstract style. For example, I use Arabic fonts in my graffiti and draw and mix fonts to make stories and graffiti out of it
TG also had a few things to say about his drawing style:
My concept of the graffiti work mainly comes from the origin of the graffiti and how it started. I pay extra attention when drawing and I will always produce work in 3 sets comprising Paint work, Spray work and Stencil work.
The two artists worked together collaboratively in many projects such as in Graffiti Exhibition at Asian Hip-Hop Festival in 2006 or Live Graffiti at Art Center in 2008 plus many more events. However, the two artists have their own preference in details, drawing, spraying and painting style within street art. Yet they can still produce such remarkable works uniquely enough, to make the gallery exhibition really stand out.
The street art show at Galeria346 will be showing through April, May and until the 8th of June. You can stop by at the gallery at 346 Phuket Rd. to check out the cool graffiti work which the two artists put their heart and talent into. This is Zenniesha, reporting for Andaman News.

Patong Beach - A walk along Patong Beach Road - Phuket, Thailand
#Patong_Beach #Patong_Phuket #Patong #Phuket_Thailand
Patong Beach is the true heart of Phuket, and what makes it so attractive to many, is often what other people hate most about it. Patong is big, bold, crowded, bright and loud. And yet millions of people flock here every year like flies on honey. If Bangkok is the Big Mango, then Patong is the Big Durian: you’ll love Patong, or you’ll hate it! The original success and popularity of Patong beach mostly rotate around two things: a fantastic beach and a legendary wild nightlife.
Just walk up and down Bangla Walking Street at night, and you will understand instantly why it is so popular. Everyone is there: guys, girls, couples and even families with kids. And why not? Patong has rooftop bars, beach clubs, world-class nightclubs and excellent Night Clubs. For many, it’s a once in a lifetime party experience (once a year for some). For others, it’s mostly a curiosity to tick-off their ‘must-do’ list, and talk about once back home. Just look at the crowd staring at sexy and very feminine ladyboys dancing on a street stage in a very tiny outfit, and you’ll get the picture, literally. And don’t forget to close your mouth.
The Beach of Patong
The beach is 3 kilometers long and often crowded in the middle part during high season. Forget about parking your car anywhere around there, and even parking your motorbike can be a problem.
The northern part of the beach, not far from Novotel Phuket and Graceland resort is more beautiful and a lot less busy. In this part of Patong, there are fewer people and more parking, plenty of local food and fruit vendors to enjoy. Water is also bluer during high season, and there are plenty of palm trees to sit under.
The water at the southern end is not always as clear as in the north, because below a large bridge, a river flows into the sea. Under the bridge is a surprisingly old-fashioned fishermen village, where most longtail boats are parked when not in use. Since it is easy to access, it may be worth a photo.
On this part of the beach, you can rent umbrellas and beach chairs which are now available on 10% of the beach (probably more now!). A long floating pontoon is installed during high season for tourists to ride those longtail boats that will take them to the beautiful and secluded Freedom Beach.
Patong Nightlife
Patong nightlife essentially rotates around Bangla Walking Street, all the way to Rat-U-Thit Road (the second road parallel to the beach). Every evening from 6 pm, this road closes to the traffic and turns into an incredibly busy walking street. On each side, a vast amount of entertainment battles to grab your attention, senses, and money!
Whether it’s with bright light, loud music or ladies wanting you to have a seat at one of the many open beer bars or even touts inviting you to have a look at the naughty shows (you should never follow touts by the way!). Patong has evolved a lot though, there are now great live music bars, enormous nightclubs, rooftop bars and of course, Go-Go Bars are still here.
Further is the Paradise Complex, known to be the gay street, easy to spot as it’s right at the feet of the Royal Paradise Hotel tower. It can be worth a visit, it’s friendly and you can watch a small ladyboy cabaret show for the price of a drink.
Shopping in Patong
You could say “there is something for everyone in Patong Beach” but in fact, it’s clearly tourist-oriented. As you walk the street, expect to see souvenirs shops, tailors, Thai massage-foot massage-soapy massage, tailors, suitcases shops, tailors, art galleries, tailors. Did I forget most visible and often invasive: tailors!
Night markets have become incredibly popular in Patong and there are no less than four to explore, Otop Market, Malin Plaza being the most popular. There are also two shopping malls here to enjoy. Jungceylon and Central Patong both offer a more sophisticated shopping experience as well as an excellent way to escape the heat with plenty of restaurants, shopping and activities. If you want to know more, read about the Jungceylon Shopping Center, but don’t miss the Banzaan Fresh Market just behind it, it is a chance to see real fresh local fruits, spices and products!

Thailand Adventure 3: SPECIAL EDITION - My day with Kev-in-thailand, Kevin Burt
This special edition episode features our day with Kevin Burt, aka Kev-In-Thailand.
After breakfast we tried to get me a Thai Driving Licence but unfortunately it failed due to a requirement for me to have medical records pertaining to my cerebral palsy.
So we head off to The Teddy Bear Museum, you can watch my version of the visit and also Kev's version.
Kevs version:
My version:
After that we head to Jomtien beach and eat lunch at a restaurant featuring sea food and ladyboys.
Dew wanted to swim so we headed off to Pattaya Water Park and for 100 baht we spent a lovely afternoon pool side.
Before we even got there (off camera unfortunately) we turned down a dead end and stopped off at this shop. Kev buys some swim shorts and is propositioned for marriage by the shop owner. Very funny.
Dew and Kev headed down the slides and had great fun in the water.
Later, we finished off chatting and drinking outside the hotel.
Kevin, despite what people think and say, is such a lovely guy. I take people at face value and I am a good judge of character - trust me, he is a fantastic, friendly human being. He really doesn't deserve the comments and nasty name-calling he gets from the small minority.
POLITE NOTE::
If you watch this vlog and have a problem with any of the meeting with Kevin do not leave negative comments, they will be deleted. I do not need to be told who I can or cannot be friends with.
Thank you Kev, for a great day. I look forward to next time.
