It’s a nice day to go exploring Dorstone
Dorstone is a small village in Herefordshire's Golden Valley. Yet it has links with the murder of Archbishop Thomas a Beckett. High on the hillside above the village is the Neolithic tomb known as Arthur's Stone. Why not pay a visit, starting from Poston Mill Park.

History of Britain King Arthur Documentary on BBC Part 3
Firstly, Arthur was able to claim his rightful place as King of Britain because he was the only one able to withdraw, Excalibur, from the stone. Thus, unexpectedly, but as had been foretold, Arthur found himself King. Throughout his reign, Arthur received advice and counsel from the elusive and mystical figure of Merlin. At the time of 6th century Wales, it was quite common for Welsh Kings to have a counselor, often called Murthur. These counselors, often had specialised information and were well versed in the arts of divination. The legend of Merlin, is probably based on these elusive court counselors.
Wye Valley, Kymin Hill and Monmouth Village England and Wales UK ???????? Part 2
Wye Valley
__________
The Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB; Welsh: Dyffryn Gwy) is an internationally important protected landscape straddling the border between England and Wales. It is one of the most dramatic and scenic landscapes in Britain.
The River Wye (Welsh: Afon Gwy) is the fifth-longest river in the United Kingdom. The upper part passes through Rhayader, Builth Wells and Hay-on-Wye, but the area designated as an AONB covers 326 square kilometres (126 sq mi) surrounding a 72-kilometre (45 mi) stretch lower down the river, from just south of Hereford to Chepstow.
This area covers parts of the counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire, and is recognised in particular for its limestone gorge scenery and dense native woodlands, as well as its wildlife, archaeological and industrial remains. It is also historically important as one of the birthplaces of the modern tourism industry. The area is predominantly rural, and many people make a living from tourism, agriculture or forestry. Ross-on-Wye is the only town within the AONB itself, but Hereford, Monmouth, Coleford and Chepstow lie just outside its boundaries.

Journey to Dorstone - First Part
I was given wrong information at London Paddington. I was on my way to visit friends in Dorstone, a tiny village in Herefordshire (UK). This meant a two-hour wait on the station platform at Newport (Wales). However, I did have my video camera with me, so I made this film, which is divided into two parts.

The Forensic Historians, King Arthurs Grave - 2 OF 3
Alan Wilson and Baram Blackett have uncovered physical evidence of two King Arthurs. The latter day stories of King Arthur have pushed two very real Kings together into one mighty mythical character. Wilson and Blackett in their detective work have specified a dynasty of 80 British Kings, two of whom were called Arthur seperated by 6 generations. Once they had pin point St Peters Church (North East of Bridgend in South Wales) as the most likely resting place of King Arthur II, they bought the building and carried out an excavation. It's impossible to state they are wrong in their conclusions when you discover what was found during their excavation. Academia Are you watching?. Anyone in academia who wishes to assist or be involved with Wilson & Blacketts research please get in touch with them. -- See for more information.
