Arthurs Seat - Victoria - Australia (Tourist Attraction)
Arthurs Seat is a mountainous and small locality on the Mornington Peninsula about 75 km south east of Melbourne, Australia.
Current attractions at Arthurs Seat include Arthurs Seat State Park (including Seawinds gardens), a maze, two restaurants and a car museum. The viewing area near the summit has views of Port Phillip with the Melbourne City skyline and the You Yangs.
The summit is connected to nearby Dromana by a winding tourist road which opened in 1929.
Resistance from local action groups have stalled multiple projects planned for the summit, putting pressure on existing tourism operations that have been closing and moving interstate to seek more supportive community conditions.
This video was shot using an iPhone X in 1080p 60fps mode. The camera was mounted on a DJiGO II gimbal to assist with smoothness.

It took us about 30-40 minutes to get to Mornington Peninsula and there were some beautiful lookouts which is shown in the video.. The Arthurs Seat “Eagle” Chair Lift / Gondola Cabin took us about 12-14 minutes one way..
When u go to the top either by vehicle or the Eagle - Chair Lift / Gondola Cabin there’s the Arthurs Seat and more lookouts too.. And a cafe / Restaurant.. And few beautiful beaches surrounding such as Mills Beach.. Rosebuds beach..

FLINDERS' CAIRN, ARTHUR'S SEAT
Presenting the cairn that honours Matthew Flinders, located at Arthur's Seat in Melbourne, Australia.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
In 1802, John Murray was the first European to discover what is now known as Port Phillip. He named the body of water Port King, and also gave name to some of the surrounding landmarks; he named Arthur's Seat after a similar hill in Edinburgh, Scotland. Several weeks later, and without knowledge of Murray's prior visitation, Matthew Flinders also entered the same body of water. Soon after arriving, he climbed Arthur's Seat and made a record of the view. The cairn was erected in 1914, and honours Matthew Flinders for his climb.
