How is natural ice cream made? | Tel Aviv, Israel
During my recent visit to Israel, I've visited Zack. Zack is an ice cream artisan, making the best natural ice cream from fresh fruit. He let us see a bit of his creative process, of how he's designing a new flavor, how he tests it, and manufactures it. Just recently, he has opened a new factory in San Diego, where he'll manufacture his ice cream for the US market, but in the meanwhile we've got a sneak peak (and a bite) of one of his test batches. Enjoy!

You thought Italian ice cream was the best? Wrong. Israel has the best.
When you live in a hot country, you take your ice cream seriously. And when you live in Israel, where the diversity of food is phenomenal, well… be prepared for something spectacular.
Whether you eat it in a cone or cup, Israeli ice cream is rapidly gaining a reputation as some of the best in the world.
Come on a quick journey to see how Israelis are using their extraordinary approach to food to conjure up new tastes in ice cream.
Bamba ice cream, ice cream infused with mozzarella and basil, watermelon and Bulgarian cheese, orange, olive oil and salt, and even ice cream for dogs … Israelis aren’t afraid to try anything new.
And of course, there’s all the regular flavors too.
Ice cream from the land of milk and honey
Summertime in Israel is all about ice cream, so why not offer it in distinctly Israeli flavors?
Does hummus ice cream sound good to you?
It sounds really yummy to Yoav Goldberg, general manager of Israel's Leggenda Gelato. We are very excited about the new hummus ice cream. People like it because it's something new, something fresh.
There's something special about ice cream made of milk from the Holy Land, which is described in the Bible as the land of milk and honey. This season's newest offerings combine fresh ingredients and classic Israeli tastes. And new ice cream parlors are popping up everywhere.
For Tal Suissa of Aldo Gelato at the Tel Aviv Port, cheesecake is one of the best Israeli flavors in frozen treats. But don't forget about tiramisu; pesto; halva; French vanilla with Nutella; mascarpone with berries; guava and mint; pistachio; strawberries and mango. And that most Israeli of flavors, hummus

ONLY IN ISRAEL: Kosher Chocolate Balls by Axe Deodorant Manufacturer Unilever
JERUSALEM, ISRAEL - MAY 12, 2013
At first sight it may seem strange, but YWN ISRAEL has confirmed that Unilever, the parent company that manufactures the popular Axe deodorant brand, is now manufacturing dark cholov yisroel chocolate candy balls that are cholov yisroel. The package bears three hechsherim, including an Eida HaCharedis mehadrin symbol. The company's products has been previously avoided by some factions due to suggestive symbols and text that were printed on their Axe branded deodorant cans. It appears however that these new chocolate temptations bear the approval of all. Unilever did not immediately respond to an inquiry as to whether this product will be launched in the United States, so it seems to be only in Israel for now.

Last night in Tel Aviv
We took a relaxing day on the last evening in Tel Aviv. The square is very quiet at night so we sat there at night and heard music from a musician . We saw the fountain running water. Then, we had our last meal at a ice cream restaurant. I had waffle and crepe with Nutella and vanilla chips. On side I had salted caramel and cheesecake ice cream. It was a great ending to the trip.

Ramli's BESUT Vase of more than 100 years old.
Ramli received this BESUT vase from his mother Puan Hjh Meenah Hj Ahmad who have passed away on 20thDec,2010.According to mum this Besut Vase was bought by her from an old lady she was visiting in Besut,Trengganu,Malaysia a very long time ago when mum was the Matron of Pahang. She asked this old lady for how long she has kept the vase in the kitchen and unused for many years? The old lady replied that the vase was kept by her also for many years. So as an estimate this Besut Vase as Ramli called it maybe about over 100 years old since my mum died at age 89 and that old lady she met a long time ago maybe in 1960s maybe also be about 80+ years old.
Anyone interested to own this old historic Besut vase can contact Ramli at +60192537165 or email: ramlipromoter@yahoo.com and we can negotiate for a good price.
