Meatballs bread, Monopoli ( Puglia) Italy
Meatballs bread
300 g. of the grated cheese
2 eggs, 50 g. of bread crumbs,
chopped parsley, salt to taste
a pinch of baking soda
In a bowl, pour the grated cheese, 2 eggs, bread crumbs, chopped parsley, a pinch of baking soda and salt to taste Mix everything together, make the meatballs and roll in breadcrumbs. Fry the meatballs in hot oil, drain them with a slotted spoon and place them on a tray with absorbent paper. Then cook the meatballs in a tomato sauce light for 10- 15 minutes. A recipe genuine, simple and cheap. Two ways to enjoy the bread dumplings: fries as an appetizer, sauce as a main dish.

Siracusa Sicily...Is it worth a visit?
On my last day in Sicily, Ryan and I decided to check out Siracusa Sicily. An ancient city influenced by the Greeks, Siracusa Sicily is a maze of narrow alley ways, stunning architecture, artisan shops and incredible food. First, we show you how to get to Siracusa, driving from Taormina Sicily to Catania Sicily and then taking the train from Catania Sicily to Siracusa. Once in Siracusa, we check into our B&B, Casa Cristina, and then head out to explore the town. After a little shopping, we stop by the Siracusa market for some fresh seafood, meats, cheeses and wine. From there, we head out of the city to a Varco Venti3, a chic beach club located in a nature reserve with the most unusual colored waters. After a little snorkeling, we head back to Siracusa for dinner in the alley at Le Vin de l'Assassin with creative traditional dishes and local ingredients.

SUMMARY
=======
Since ancient times, Greeks, Etruscans and Celts have inhabited the south, centre and north of the Italian peninsula respectively. The very numerous Rock Drawings in Valcamonica go back to 8,000 BC, and there are rich remains of Etruscan art from thousands of tombs, as well as rich remains from the Greek colonies at Paestum, Agrigento and elsewhere. Ancient Rome finally emerged as the dominant Italian and European power. The Roman remains in Italy are of extraordinary richness, from the grand Imperial monuments of Rome itself to the survival of exceptionally preserved ordinary buildings in Pompeii and neighbouring sites. Following the fall of the Roman Empire, in the Middle Ages Italy, especially the north, remained an important centre, not only of the Carolingian art and Ottonian art of the Holy Roman Emperors, but for the Byzantine art of Ravenna and other sites.
Italy was the main centre of artistic developments throughout the Renaissance (1300-1600), beginning with the Proto-Renaissance of Giotto and reaching a particular peak in the High Renaissance of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael, whose works inspired the later phase of the Renaissance, known as Mannerism. Italy retained its artistic dominance into the 17th century with the Baroque (1600-1750). Cultural tourism and Neoclassicism (1750-1850) became a major prop to an otherwise faltering economy. Both Baroque and Neoclassicism originated in Rome and were the last Italian-born styles that spread to all Western art. However, Italy maintained a presence in the international art scene from the mid-19th century onwards, with movements such as the Macchiaioli, Futurism, Metaphysical, Novecento Italiano, Spatialism, Arte Povera, and Transavantgarde.
Italian art has influenced several major movements throughout the centuries and has produced several great artists, including painters, architects and sculptors. Today, Italy has an important place in the international art scene, with several major art galleries, museums and exhibitions; major artistic centres in the country include Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan, Turin, Genoa, Naples, Palermo, Lecce and other cities. Italy is home to 53 World Heritage Sites, the largest number of any country in the world.

OperaWine | Casanova di Neri
The farm CASANOVA DI NERI was founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri, who bought a large estate within Montalcino area. Since the time the founder passed away in 1991 his son Giacomo took over in running the winery looking after the vineyards and the cellar. From the initial 12 hectares of vineyards we reached today about 60 hectares. In the years the philosophy has been exclusively the one of looking for and have the best vineyars of the territory to produce unique wines of great character with a well definite style.
