The Oranjestad Aruba Tramway uses beautiful battery electric trolleys to shuttle tourists around the city. The tramway is beautiful without the overhead wires!
The Oranjestad Streetcar Aruba 4K
The Oranjestad #streetcar is a single-track tram line in #Oranjestad, the capital of #aruba. It shuttles between the cruise terminal on the outskirts of Oranjestad and the city center and is free. Two out of four open wagon can be seen in my movie. They use green hydrogen as an energy source and are operated according to the Hydrail principle. The energy needed comes from solar and wind power in Aruba. The tram therefore needs no overhead lines and is an environmentally friendly attraction for the many daily tourists.

7/19/18 The Oranjestad Streetcar Trams in Oranjestad, Aruba
This one took a while to make so hope you all enjoy it like we did. As part of the Carnival Vista trip, we made a stop at the port of Oranjestad, Aruba as one of the destination. It turns out there is a streetcar system that runs just outside the port so here is the footage we got featuring Streetcars Red and Orange running as well as a peek of streetcars Blue and Green in the roundhouse shops. While Green and Orange are single leveled, the Red and Blue are doubledeckers so it was a very interesting sight.

With Arubus or the minibus from the hotel zone very easy to reach.
