The Carnival of Cultures is Ashfield Council's premiere event attracting 18, 000 people and celebrating the diverse range of cultures that make up the Ashfield Local Government Area. Now in its 18th year the Ashfield Carnival of Cultures offers performances across 2 stages, activities for kids, an array of food and market stalls, community information, bike valet parking, a free tree giveaway, and all in beautiful Ashfield Park.

Tour de Ashfield
This is Tour de Ashfield.
Finally, the long-awaited sequel of Tour de Hurstville is here!
I am embarking on a journey through Ashfield, Sydney, Australia to explore and locate some of it's unique and spectacular features.
First we travel to Ashfield's train station, then to the newly-built Ashfield clinic and Ashfield Library. After that we go to Ashfield Mall, K-Mart and St George before getting lost in the outskirts of Ashfield. We return to the mall after some time and quickly take a look at Ashfield's primary and high schools.
I do the tour with my friend Falloutin3, who has his own youtube channel and also recently did a tour of Ashfield.

EDIT (2015): The original song that went with part 5 of Tour de Ashfield (Ashfield streets) was It's a sin by The Pet Shop Boys. Unfortunately, youtube flagged the original video for copyright infringement and forced me to remove the track or have the whole of the video's audio muted.
I was so disgraced by the result that I set about uploading another version of the remainder of the video (LINK: (parts 5 and 6) with the original song, just raised up one tone to trick youtube's audio detector. Hopefully you will now be able to see what part 5 of Tour de Ashfield was originally meant to be and I can breathe easily knowing that one of the best videos I have ever made is no longer in shame.

Seeing that I'm here, I would also like to mention that this video is almost 3 years old (as of today the 19th of August 2015) and Ashfield has changed a bit in that time. The shop I bought juice from, Evelyns, no longer exists in Ashfield Mall, and the food court has changed considerably. The construction work shown in the video is now complete and the glasses shop at ashfield mall has opened (it's been open for a couple of years now).
